FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My little Brother and Sister in Law's wedding. It was so special to do their wedding flowers. I felt so proud to be there on the day and to see their reaction to the floral arrangements I had made for them!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Romantic, whimsical, abundant, luscious & textured.

What about your business are you most proud of?

My business is a long awaited labour of love. I'm incredibly proud of myself for taking the leap from my old career, to make my dream of being a floral designer a reality, all whilst looking after my 3 young boys!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be honest and realistic about your budget from the start. If a supplier knows your budget, they can tailor your quote and their services to meet that budget. It also saves you wasting your time and being disappointed when you receive quotes that are way out of your price range.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A couple used teacups at their wedding breakfast, that were owned by the bride's grandmother who had unfortunately passed away and couldn't be there.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Couples are asked to fill in my online enquiry form. We then have a chat over the phone to discuss what your floral vision is for your big day. I'll then email you your initial quote & proposal based on our chat. If your happy with what you see, I take a £200 non refundable booking fee to secure your date and we start to plan for your wedding flowers!

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I once included foraged Wildflowers into a Bride's bouquet, that were picked from her family farm.. it was a really lovely touch and made the bouquet even more special!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Cornflowers symbolise positive hope for the future. Dahlias symbolise lasting love.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Dahlias- mean steadfastness, as they continue to bloom, even when most other flowers have died.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Your flowers and foliage are owned by you! After your wedding you can take them home, gift them to family and friends or even consider donating them to your local hospice.
