Wild Bloom Full Description
We create magical florals in stunning colour combinations at weddings across the South East. Lucy will meet you and get to know you as much as possible - listening carefully and taking on board your ideas and wishes for your wedding. Whether you know exactly the look you'd like to achieve, or you need our inspiration to help pull your ideas together, by the end of the design process you'll feel secure in the knowledge that you're in good hands. We are conscientious, eager, and super friendly in our approach. We also take responsibility for every element of the floral side of your wedding - liaising with your venues (including the church if this applies) so that once you've booked us you need to do nothing more. Whether you just need bouquets and buttonholes for the Bridal party, or you're looking for full venue styling, we'd love to help. Table arrangements, large urns of flowers, floral archways, hanging marquee installations - nothing is too much trouble. We offer a very personal service.

The flowers were my highlight!!!
And considering I really didn't know much about the flower style I want, I couldn't recommend Lucy more highly. She was patient and helpful in guiding me through the process and the result was better than I could ever have dreamed. She even jumped in to dress the cake at the last minute! Lucy is so kind and a pleasure to work with. 110% recommend - thank you Lucy!

Lucy is a fabulous florist
Lucy produced the most beautiful flowers for my wedding day on 22.08.19. I have to say Lucy was the most professional person - from the moment we booked her she went above and beyond to ensure she could give us the best information and flower to suit our ideas. She came to visit our venue and had tonnes of ideas. Ultimately the flowers were gorgeous. They really popped against my wedding dress and everyone was commenting on how stunning the flowers looked in the pictures. I cannot recommend Lucy enough :)

Perfect
Lucy is a floral artist, she managed to make my dream bridal bouquet both in looks and aroma. The church decorations were beautiful. Lucy listened to what I asked for and added little touches that i hadn't even thought of such as adding rosemary to my bouquet to give it a lovely smell. I could not have asked for more. I would very highly recommend this lovely lady nothing is too much trouble for her.

Stunning flowers, wonderful florist!
I could not have been any happier with the beautiful flowers Lucy created for our Rustic Kent wedding. We had a colour theme but trusted her to make something and it was far better than we ever could have hoped! Lots of the flowers were hand picked local wild flowers which was just perfect. Lucy also created flowers for my hair and even went the extra mile to drive to deliver these to me on my hair trial after I got lost trying to find her! She’s such a lovely person and had such a gift for what she does- could norm reccomend her any more highly!

Fabulous event flowers for our Speech Day
Lucy is a talented creative artist and a lovely person to work with to boot. She created 2 spectacular pedestal arrangements which would grace any wedding or event as well as beautiful long arrangements to decorate a buffet table. Absolutely professional and works incredibly hard. I HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful flowers, excellent service
Lucy is not only exceptionally talented, she is great with people too. I had no idea what sort of flowers I wanted for my wedding, so I needed a lot of help. Lucy came up with a few different ideas that I could look at, and really guided my choices overlaying her own personal brand of taste and creativity. She has the ability to charm and work with everyone from extremely shy flower girls who don't like their heads being touched, to elderly relatives, to husbands who insist on putting their buttonholes on upside down, to church ladies of the WI who are known to be very set in their ways which is a really special set of skills. I've seen many of Lucy's displays, not one of them has been duplicated, and each one is put together with love and thought. Five stars!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every wedding is memorable, and every single one is special.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, garden-style, sumptuous, unusual, beautiful.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The communication and relationships I create with the couples I'm working with. It's vital, and very special. I love being closely involved in people's weddings.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't let Pinterest make you feel that your wedding plans are inadequate!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet with a bride (or couple) as early on as possible, so we can get to know each other. It's the best way to ensure I'm designing the right florals for someone! I usually send a document with images of possible floral 'ingredients', pictures of ideas and some prices. Once a couple has decided to book, I also create a Pinterest inspiration board. In the run-up to your wedding I will do all the liaising with your venue and/or church, so you can step back and get on with other things. I'm always available to booked couples to answer questions they might have before their wedding, and on the day I can be booked to stay on site and move arrangements around if necessary. I'm very approachable.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Feathers, protea, airplants, miniature photographs, brooches, lace from an antique wedding dress. I'll find a way to incorporate anything, if it has special meaning to a bride.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

There's a good reason many people say peonies or garden roses are the most romantic flowers; their petals look like frills - soft and blousy. Utterly beautiful.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

I'm always happy to help my clients find ways for guests to take table flowers home at the end of a wedding. Or if you're using hired glassware, simply collect some large jars in the run-up to your wedding, and I would transfer the table flowers afterwards, for you to keep. If you are marrying in a church, it is usual practice to leave large flower arrangements there for the benefit of the congregation, but smaller ones can be moved to your reception venue and 'repurposed'. Arrangements like this can simply be taken home by family members after a wedding, and enjoyed. The flowers should last at least a week. Bouquets can be preserved too. If you're thinking of doing this, find a reputable company before your wedding day.
