Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
The Peony is one of my favourites and is very popular in bridal flowers - albeit a very short season. The Peony symbolises romance, prosperity, good fortune, a happy marriage, riches, honour and compassion. I also love ranunculus equally as beautiful and they just get better with time.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
It has to be the rose. Each colour offers a distinct meaning: red, the lover's rose, signifies enduring passion; white, humility and innocence; yellow, expressing friendship and joy; pink, gratitude, appreciation and admiration; orange, enthusiasm and desire; white lilac and purple roses represent enchantment and love at first sight.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Many people have them dried and pressed, or resin is very popular.
