Hi welcome to the florist on the green. We are a friendly local shop that tries our hardest to work within people’s budgets and to achieve their dream wedding flowers.
Situated in the pretty Essex village of great totham, we are close to many wedding and event venues in north essex.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
It’s lovely to actually meet the bride and groom. We chat about your requirements. I can give you a rough idea of price on the day if required and then follow up with a firm quote. If something seems out of your budget I am happy to work with you to find a resolution. Sometimes a wedding is about compromise and I research carefully to try and avoid flower availability problems but we are dealing with a seasonal product and the old adage, just because you can get something out of season, doesn’t mean you should. I aim to answer emails as quickly as I can.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Roses, the flower of love.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
It has to be a peony, so fluffy, scented and pretty.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Trim them, Place them in water and enjoy them.
