Every wedding as each is unique to each & every couple, & it’s so hard to choose one I remember them all for their own unique reason.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I’m really proud of everything I’ve achieved & that I still absolutely love what I do after all these years- I just love it ! The wow moment when the bride sees her bouquet to seeing the venue beautifully decorated with beautiful flowers.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be true to yourselves ! & book your preferred florist early !
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are many & this reflects being true to yourself, from attaching a photo in a locket to a brides bouquet or adding little Harry Potter potions bottles to reception flowers to surprise a bride & hearing about her absolute delight that they were part of her day .To flower collars for much loved dogs & ponies attending the wedding!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples usually phone or email to find out if I have availability, their date is then secured with a deposit & I ask few questions about the wedding then I book in a consultation, & we then have a chat on the vision of the flowers for the big day, then my creativity starts to produce ideas , moodboards we then meet again to finalise the flowers.A month before the wedding the balance is due .On the day bridal flowers are delivered & venue/ ceremony flowers are set up .
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Lego men !
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
There are so many with so many meanings it’s hard to pin point one !
What is the most romantic flower and why?
It has to roses & peony’s with their gorgeous blousey petals - what could be more romantic ?
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
It’s entirely up to the couple it’s their flowers, you can give them as gifts or if you have many blooms I can repurpose them for you & give them to local nursing, dementia homes & hospices, I’ve done this many times & the flowers are truly appreciated at such a kind gesture.
