One couple included their dog in the ceremony as the ring bearer! He ran down the aisle with a silk purse with the wedding ring inside! We thought that deserved a floral dog collar (so we rustled one up!)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Each wedding or event is given a very personal service which includes:
A dedicated initial appointment with personal attention, and time to listen carefully to interpret and develop your ideas or brief to create the vision of your choice.
A follow up appointment to clarify and confirm your needs.
Advice on the latest floral trends and information about what flowers are available in a particular season.
Recommendations to achieve your desired 'look' while remaining within your budget. As an independent florist we are committed to providing value for money!
A creative edge and distinctiveness that is unique to our work. We are concerned to consider every detail of your event which is reflected in the quality of the end product. We ask couples to bring along any images they like & possibly swatches/pics of their outfits to help with colour palette suggestions.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
The most unusual thing that we have put in 'maid's bouquets was lettuces! The bride wanted to surprise her new husband who worked for a company who marketed salad products!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Some brides choose to 'throw' their bouquet for the wedding party to catch! Others may like to preserve them (it's good to get early advice from a specialist about this). We always suggest that they can take the reception/church designs & perhaps give them as a gift to their wedding guests.
