What is your most memorable wedding?
Last year we made up bouquets of large white hydraganas and blue moon roses the bride was frilled 😊
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Modern and traditional very easy going no job or request too small I’d say being a family run small business we add that finishing touch with that personality which you can not get on line
What about your business are you most proud of?
Holly Rose Florist ... very proud built up this shop / business from nothing always been a manager of another Florist so was amazing to set up my own so I’m really proud that we are still here and getting our name out There
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To look at pics on line and get a good idea of what you do like and also what you don’t like to take into Shop when discussing your design and what you would love for your special day
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I advise brides to tie little luggage tags to the centrepieces if giving away with a personal little message on for someone on that table for them to take the flowers home if I was sitting at that table and noticed that they were for me at the end of the wedding with a personal message on for me would make my day I would be chuffed
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Arrange a suitable date and time to call in the Shop or to discuss over the phone go over the wedding flowers with the bride or both .. what they had in mind I would then be able to give them a rough price on the day so that they have some idea on cost
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Broach with a loved ones picture in that is no longer here for the bride on the day
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Lots of so many beautiful roses out there but so many other flowers too
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Either keep them at home if not going away give to a loved one or even take to the cemetery to give a loved one that has passed too is a lovely thing to do
