Forget Me Not Florist was amazing
Rebecca and her team were absolutely incredible! She was able to completely transform our reception tent and the ceremony flowers and bridal bouquet were gorgeous. I couldn’t have imagined it turning out any better!

Beautiful and budget-friendly!
We were so glad to work with Forget Me Not for our wedding this past weekend! Rebecca was responsive and helpful during the planning process, and the flowers looked absolutely beautiful on the big day. Forget Me Not perfectly captured our "vintage autumn library" vision and worked well within our (relatively low) floral budget. Highly recommended!

Beautiful!!
Rebecca was absolutely amazing in executing my floral vision. They looked a million times more beautiful than I could have imagined. We received so many compliments on our arch, aisle pieces, and the bouquets. She was incredibly accommodating to last minute revisions as well! I would use Forget Me Not for all my floral needs if I lived closer!!

Beautiful flowers, great to work with!
Rebecca was great and easy to work with. She put together everything for our wedding (bouquets, centerpieces, decorations for the ceremony mantel and cocktail hour tables) - it all looked beautiful and we got several compliments on the flowers.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Foliage, Blooms, Texture, Flow

What about your business are you most proud of?

To be able to create arrangements to capture a clients personality and style. It’s a great feeling when you have been a part of a clients special day and made their vision a reality.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Take your time! There are so many arrangements, styles, flowers & foliage to choose from. Take your time to browse and absorb all of the options before you decide.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Dried Flower Place Settings or Guest Favours Fresh Flower Photo Booth Frames are beautiful and great fun Being asked to provide a replica of a brides bouquet to leave at a loved ones grave, special ways to include those we love who cannot be with us.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A talk over the phone to get an idea of dates, venue, what flowers you have in mind. Perhaps you know exactly what you would like or maybe you need some further inspiration. From there we can sit down and discuss the finer details, I can offer inspiration, ideas and support if required. I can then put together a quote based on your requirements. If you are happy with the quote provided a deposit would be paid to secure your booking and allow pre-order of your flowers. The balance of your order would be paid one week before your wedding date.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I love some of the tropical flowers. I recently used King Protea (see photos). I also think the addition of a few dried materials or some bold ribbon/material can give texture and interest to a fresh flower bouquet.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Popular flowers and those symbolising love are often Rose, Peony, Orchid, Carnation, Tulip, Dahlia & Lavender. My favourite flower would have to be Peony, these are stunning. Roses are always a favourite for weddings with so many beautiful blooms, colours and scents available.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

I think the most romantic flower would be a Rose however there are so many flowers I would consider romantic, here are a few ideas…. Rose, Peony, Orchid, Tulip, Anemone, Ranunculus, Hydrangea, Lilac, Sweet Pea, Calla Lily, Delphinium, Dahlia.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Depending on the size of your arrangements many couples either take them home to enjoy. They could be gifted to guests at the wedding so they can also enjoy them, you may want to thank key family and friends involved for their help and support, this is a nice way of doing that. Other options could be to dry your bridal bouquet, depending on the flowers/foliage you have chosen this could be very effective. You could press some flowers and frame them. Silica gel can be used to preserve flowers over a long period of time. I have also seen flowers put into a resin, like a paperweight, which is also very effective.
