What is your most memorable wedding?
The most memorable wedding we worked on was at South Warnborough Church last summer, where the cottage garden theme came to life with the stunning "Arch of Dreams" adorned in seasonal pastel flowers—absolutely breathtaking!

Rustic, Natural, Whimsical, Romantic, and Wild.
What about your business are you most proud of?
What I’m most proud of in my wedding flower business is our personalised service, the attention to the little details others might overlook, and our fantastic customer care - we pride ourselves on always going above and beyond to make each couple’s day truly special.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding planning tip is to prioritise what truly matters to you and your partner—whether it’s the flowers, the venue, or the food—and focus your energy on those elements. It will make the process much more enjoyable and ensure your day feels authentic and memorable.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Plane themed centrepieces to celebrate a love of aviation - we worked with the couple to design bespoke centrepieces that celebrated the autumnal flowers chosen and a love of all things vintage planes - it was so unique and personal!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
At Bud Hut, our typical wedding flower planning process is seamless and personalised to ensure every detail is perfect for your big day.
We start with a telephone consultation where we discuss your vision, style, and flower preferences. From there, we create a bespoke mood board that reflects your unique ideas, which we send to you within 4 days. This includes flower choices, colour palettes, and venue styling suggestions to bring your vision to life.
Once you've confirmed your date, we reserve your wedding date, giving us time to finesse the plans as we approach your big day. We keep in touch regularly, with check-ins at 6 weeks, 2 weeks, and 3 days before the wedding, ensuring everything is on track and any last-minute changes can be addressed.
On your wedding day, we deliver all the bridal party florals and set up the venue with your floral designs, transforming the space into something truly special. After the celebration, we return the day after to de-rig and pack away any remaining flowers, carefully packaging up any blooms you'd like to gift to family or friends as keepsakes.
From start to finish, we take care of everything, providing a seamless experience and beautiful florals tailored to your vision.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Avery sentimental broach from a late grandmother included within the bridal bouquet
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Yes, there are several flowers with beautiful symbolism that can make a wedding even more meaningful. One flower I often recommend for couples is the peony. Peonies are often associated with love, romance, and happy marriage, making them an ideal choice for a wedding. They are also said to symbolise prosperity and good fortune, which is a lovely sentiment for the start of a couple’s life together.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
A less obvious but deeply romantic choice would be the gardenia. Known for its creamy white petals and intoxicating fragrance, the gardenia symbolises purity, secret love, and refinement. Its elegant, almost velvety appearance adds a timeless beauty to any wedding bouquet, and its fragrant blooms can evoke a sense of intimacy and quiet romance.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
The day after your wedding, we return to carefully collect all the flowers, packaging up any blooms you'd like to gift to family and the bridal party; any flowers that cannot be gifted are brought back to our studio and often donated to local nursing homes or hospitals, allowing others to enjoy their beauty.
