The Soul Miners Pricing & Costs
From £1,320
We typically perform 2 x 1 hour sets but will perform 3 x 40 minute sets if requested. We will, of course, fit into your itinerary.
All our vocalists (one male, two female) sing lead vocals. They also perform backing vocals, duet, and sing in harmony, making our sets appeal to a very wide audience.
We tailor our sets to suit our clients individual requirements. If you would like us to perform a song for your First Dance that is not already included in our repertoire, we would be very happy to discuss this with you.
We are a 100% live band and do not use pre-recorded backing tracks in our performances.
We are fully self-contained and require no additional equipment support (except for a mains power supply).
We will provide our own PA, audio engineer, and lighting rig unless otherwise instructed.
We can provide disco playlists throughout your party for no additional charge (unless it is a very late finish). You are welcome to provide your own music playlists via your own device which we will connect to our mixing desk.

The Soul Miners Full Description
The Soul Miners are a 100% live, high-energy, 8-piece band, and we specialise in performing Motown & classic soul music. We are based in Cardiff, South Wales and are available to perform throughout the UK.
Our repertoire consists of music from legendary soul artists such as Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles. Many of the songs from the films ‘The Blues Brothers’ and ‘The Commitments’ are featured in our sets, as we know how much our audiences love to dance and sing along to them!
We provide entertainment at weddings, parties, functions, charity fundraising events, and festivals.
Our musicians and vocalists are highly-experienced professionals who share a love of soul music, and we believe our enjoyment and enthusiasm for performing together shows in our performances. We like to have FUN!
We do not provide a DJ service as such, but would play background music which is in keeping with your event. If you would prefer us to play your own music we are very happy to do so. Many of our clients provide their own playlists on an iPod, laptop etc, which we connect to our mixing desk. We run the equipment, so all you need do is relax and enjoy the music!
We use top quality instrumentation, amplification, and lighting equipment, to ensure we always deliver a great show. We will ensure that your guests get up, and stay up, dancing all night long! Please take a look at our Testimonials to see what our clients have said about us.

What is your most memorable wedding?
The Soul Miners performed at the wedding of Mr & Mrs Tommy Bowe (British & Irish Lion and Ireland Rugby Union international) at the Corran Resort & Spa in Pembrokeshire.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan in advance and book early.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you have decided to proceed with your booking, a contract will be prepared and two copies sent to you. You would then sign and return one copy of the contract in the SAE provided, together with a deposit (typically 20%) via cheque or bank transfer, for which a receipt shall be given. The remaining balance of the band’s fee would then be payable on the day of your event. Should you wish to view our standard contract form before proceeding with your booking, we would be happy to provide you with a copy.
