What is your most memorable wedding?
Stephen & Dolly at Hedingham Castle, Essex. A local venue close to my heart. I was booked for the full day package. What a stunning place!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Charismatic. Professional. Meticulous. Outgoing. Inclusive.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love how unique this service is! You normally get a Master of Ceremonies or a Magician. With me you get both. Twice the fun for half the cost!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make a list! Suppliers, names contact details… and get contingencies in place. Get your timings down cold! Or just book me and I’ll take care of it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
This was a personal touch from me. The venue’s power shorted out about an hour before arrival. It was just blown fuses, but I drove to a nearby building site and spoke with some labourers, who gave me some fuses. (Always thinking outside the box!)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It’s dead easy. After securing a small deposit for your day I email you your invoice along with a wedding party form. This form is a detailed form that lists all of suppliers on your day as well as contacts on the day. I list your entire bridal party and their names so they can introduced to music at your wedding breakfast. I get every last piece of information on this form from you (cake cutting time, first dance time, evening guest arrival etc) and you just email it back. We then arrange a face to face meeting in person or over Zoom/Teams to discuss any other bits and pieces before I liaise with the venue contact. You can call me as much as you want. We won’t proceed with anything until you are one hundred per cent happy!
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Good old stage magic with a comedy element. Time tested. It never fails!
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
The Guildhall London
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Arg from TOWIE was passing by and dropped in to sing an old Dean Martin song…That’s Amore. He was very good
What is your party trick?
This list is too long for a magician!
