I'm Melissa, London based tarot reader. I've always been fascinated with tarot and everything to do with carnivals and the occult. I love going to gigs and festivals, emo music and rock music are my jam. I am geeky, gothic and a lot fun. I enjoy immersive events (like Secret Cinema and Punchdrunk) and any excuse for dressing up. Equally as happy in a dive bar as a five star hotel as long as the whisky is good! I don't take myself too seriously!

Mercury Tarot Pricing & Costs

£250 - £1,000

My rate is on a sliding scale, starting at £250 for two hours of tarot. I can help you work out the perfect duration of tarot readings based on your event vibe and guests. I will arrive 30 minutes early to set up and ensure everything looks perfect, happy to work alongside your wedding planner or venue. I am available for a Zoom consultation before your event to discuss the details and vibe, working with you to make magic happen. I am available across the UK, outside of London I may charge a travel fee.

I'm Melissa Mercury. Down to earth, quirky and inclusive tarot reader offering empowering and fun readings that you'll guests will be talking about all night and remember forever. I'm friendly, funny, enthusiastic and have a real passion for tarot and meeting new people. I'd love to help you add a touch of magic to your wedding or hen party with something to surprise and delight your guests. I offer 1-1 tarot readings or can accommodate groups of 2-5 at a time around my table. I am happy to dress up to match your event themes. I have a wide range of tarot decks and will always bring a couple to suit your event. All I need provided is a table and chairs and I'll do the rest. About me: I qualified in Tarot at London School of Astrology in 2016 and have been reading professionally ever since. I've even been a guest on the Love Island and Paranormal Activity podcasts. I've read tarot for over 3000 individuals from all walks of life, I have a few celebrity clients too! I've worked with some amazing corporate clients which include Sony, Netflix, Reddit, Lovehoney, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Ogilvy and TK Maxx.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Dreamland at Margate! The couple had hired out the whole theme park for their big day, a gothic and spooky wedding. It was a fantastic atmosphere and I ended up staying much later due to demand from the guests. It was a fun day and I wore my flowing black velvet gown.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I work as a full time tarot reader, it's a dream come true. I worked in radio/TV advertising for a decade and left to launch my tarot business, I am very proud.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be authentically you, don't worry so much about the guests, they want you to be happy. Work with the places and people you click with.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Establishing the style and vibe of the wedding is key. I like to get to know the couple before the event so I can best tailor my approach to work perfectly. It's good to know the colour schemes and themes so I can select the perfect outfit, table decorations and tarot decks.

What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?

Have a few entertainment options or activities during the photography session.

Where is the most memorable place you have performed?

Latitude Festival - I had my own tarot tent right next to the comedy stage and had lots of famous faces pop in for a tarot reading.

What is your party trick?

I can read fortune/tarot using an ordinary pack of playing cards!
