Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun! Quality; Reliable; Flexible and Stunning.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our people. It's true, we spent a long time perfecting our product... but it's people who make us tick. That includes our team - the photographers, technicians and administrative staff that make it happen. It includes the fabulous vendors we "work" alongside with (is it really work, when you're having fun?) and of course, you - our clients, the brides and grooms. Ultimately, we're motivated by the gorgeous smiles on your faces!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to let the pressure get to you. There's going to be a lot of it - from your friends, family, yourselves and from social media. But stick together with your partner and remember that in the big picture, most of the things causing you stress aren't that important - so don't let them get to you.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
So there was this wedding in Mayfair and the groom is a pianist - but he doesn't just play the piano, it's a massive part of who he is AND he's on another level. However, he's not the cheesy type - so no serenading her whilst everyone watched.
Instead, after dessert a beautiful, white, grand piano was rolled out into the middle of the dance floor. Everyone came and sat around in a big circle, whilst bride and groom sat down and played. Family, friends - everyone sang along, creating the most beautiful sound and completely filling the hall with warmth.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
There's the automated part and the personal part.
On the one hand, you've got our state-of-the-art online booking portal where everything is managed. It makes sure no information gets missed and minimises the paperwork for you.
On the other hand, you've got the personal care of our team, always available by whatsapp - we accept voicenotes, emojis and GIFs, of course.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
It's got to be Kensington Palace! We were providing photomagnets for a function in December 2018 and they had the most gorgeous and enormous Christmas tree which made for stunning romantic photos.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Okay so I was a guest, at my friend's wedding. Towards the end, we're all dancing. I wanted to lift him on my shoulders. This was a bad idea. Anyway, I squat down and he climbs on and half a second later, just as I'm about to stand up, I here a terrible rip. Yep, it was my trousers. Luckily, I realised and ran away!
What is your party trick?
Matty's a magician, so he's got loads. If you need help folding the napkins, Scott can make a chicken. Lauren and Dina can rap the Alphabet Aerobics and Tap Dance (they're not twins, but they seem like it sometimes) and Toby pen spins (real party animal, you might guess). Leivi can knock down a glass of water in one go (the things you learn, studying photography at University) and after a couple of champagnes, Amanda belly rolls! As for everyone else... you'll just have to wait and see.
