David Imevbore also known as Bongodave, is a drummer and percussionist with over 25 year’s experience. Born into a religious family, he learnt how to play drums in Church from an early age. Growing up, he enhanced his skills and confidence by playing in numerous musical concerts, events, festivals, competitions and productions. Going through this experience involved a constant challenge of his understanding of rhythm, his ability to adapt to different music genres and to work with different musicians and audiences. A few years ago, David started playing as a percussionist in venues Aberdeen, Scotland, where he was given the name ‘BONGODAVE’. WEDDINGS Give your wedding a unique and different feel with Bongodave’s solo performances or duets with fantastic musicians. We can work with DJ’s, saxophonists, Scottish Pipers, Guitarists and pianists to make your wedding unique and memorable. Our performances are ideal option to get your guests dancing away, for simple classical acoustics to provide background music during reception ceremonies, to welcome your guests, for special moments such as ushering the bride, signing the register etc.
