We have grown and developed a strong team, complete with fashion forward stylists, innovative designers, UK fabric providers, experienced seamstresses... We pride ourselves on supporting local business through cross marketing and sustainable working. Our growth and reputation as the must go to boutique is founded on strong bridal design & style opinions, backed up with technical expertise & up beat service. We not only know our designers and fabrics; we know how a young woman wants to not only look but feel on her wedding day.

The White Room is an inspiring and creative bridal space in which our sole purpose was and still is to allow the modern day woman to choose her own bridal style from a selection of largely British designers offering both craftsmanship and individuality. Varying from the Brit cool, vintage inspiration of Halfpenny London to the utter classic and impeccable cuttings of Suzanne Neville and Sassi Holford, to the clean lines of Rosa Clara and the french elegance of Cymbeline.

On what was meant to be the most exciting time...

On what was meant to be the most exciting time of my life, I was belittled, patronised and ignored, the worst point was when they wouldn't wait for my mother to arrive because I only had an hour! When I asked if a dress could be altered to my taste, I was told that the designer wouldn't be happy with that! The designers shop is 2 minutes from where I live in London and I am fairly sure from all the dresses my friends have bought from her that she would be horrified to hear this!

The white room are quite simply amazing...

The white room are quite simply amazing. From start to finish the staff couldn't do enough for me and made the whole process a memorable one. They have a stunning collection of bridal gowns and accessories to suit all brides and the boutique is beautifully furnished. I would recommend them to any bride wanting the best service, highest quality dress, and the perfect experience. They have an amazing seamstress too who really does work miracles x

Having been in a couple of other local wedding dress...

Having been in a couple of other local wedding dress shops I had tried in a number of nice dresses but nothing that was close to being the one. My first appointment at the white room I had found two dresses I loved and was faced with making a choice. My Suzanne Neville dress was made to fit, addressing the slight curviture in my spine. The whole process was very reassuring as my voile fittings took place early leaving me in the knowledge my dress was being made to fit.

I got my dress in the sample sale as the...

I got my dress in the sample sale as the one i had fallen in love with was discontinued. It was in perfect condition and I was very carefully advised on how the dress could be altered to fit me as I am a lot smaller than the sample came in. I decided it was too far to travel to get altered there so I took the dress home with me and had it altered at a dressmaker closer to home. The staff were polite and very helpful.

Due to my location I was unable to get the...

Due to my location I was unable to get the dress of my dreams as there were no stockists of Jenny Packham on the Isle of Man. I rang TWR with a very bizarre question-due to my situation, would they possibly be able to post a dress for me to try on?(I asked but really expected them to say no). I was so surprised & relieved when they said they would, I couldn't believe it! The dress arrived two days later, I tried it on and fell in love, THANK YOU. I doubt maby bridal houses would be so helpful!

The White Room are fantastic...

The White Room are fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, professional and interested in getting to know me so they could really help me find my perfect dress. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt so comfortable whenever I was there; I didn't want to leave the beautiful boutique! The team would make great suggestions of what I should try on next and their choices were always superb. Once I'd found my dress, the alterations were done really quickly and to an excellent standard. I couldn't be happier!

I felt completely at ease throughout the whole process...

I felt completely at ease throughout the whole process- Karen ensured I was updated and informed from start to finish and made the whole experience: choosing, trying on , fitting and lastly collecting the most enjoyable and stress free! Would highly recommend the white room, very professional and efficient service as well as friendly, approachable and, importantly not pushy!

Leanne...

Leanne & Karen were beyond helpful. Throughout the entire process they were readily available on the phone and through email. My visits to the shop for fittings etc were a pleasure and it was clear that they are experts at what they do. Their seamstress was absolutely wonderful and my dress fitted perfectly. She also went above and beyond to purchase additional materials for me for a sash she made. I cannot recommend them enough.

The White room is a beautiful and unique bridal shop, which is filled with beautiful gowns. They help you to fell at ease and special when trying on the dresses and throughout the process.

Should you choose to drive, please be aware we are on a pedestrian street so you will need to factor paid parking into your visit. We recommend the Arundel Gate NCP, Charles Street Q park and if available, street parking on Norfolk Street. Do be aware of loading only bays and disabled parking spots too. We are a 10 minute walk from Shefield train station, making us accessible from Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Harrogate and York. We are also just off the main shopping area of Sheffield centre (Fargate) in which the tram service opperates from Meadowhall to us too.
