Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Quirky, personal, unique, creative, bold

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Work out a budget you will definitely be able to stick to, and don't let other people dictate your special day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We start off with a consultation in my studio over a cuppa and a biscuit. We chat about your wedding and what your vision for your gown will be. Once the design is finalised there will be a deposit to pay. The next stage is to take measurements from which I create your unique pattern. I then make this into a 'toile' or mock up version for you to try on to ensure the fit is correct and you are happy with the whole design. The next stage is for me to make any necessary amendments and a second toile if required (until we get it right!) Then we have a fitting with the base layers of the gown- sometimes the lining and internal structure layers or the petticoats. Then the work begins on the outer layer! There can be another couple of fittings from then on to ensure everything is perfect for you to take away your beautiful gown.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting all of the happy couples and creating something wonderful that helps make their special day memorable.

What is your favourite style of wedding dress?

My favourite style of wedding gown is the one that makes the bride feel super special and unique.

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?

I always finish off my garment labels with a tiny blue button and bow, however I have lots of other ways to sneak something blue in there too!
