FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Grace wore our 1930's original gold and lace gown at the Asylum in London! The whole look and story was just magical. Her dress was discovered in New York where it turns out Grace was engaged!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Inspired by the history of fashion, quirky, cool, stylish!

What about your business are you most proud of?

My beautiful brides and their stories.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do not lose your style, do not get sold into something that really isn't you!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

My bride Tabitha wore her grandmothers flower wax headdress.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I do not get to work with the couple together, just have a hand in sending a bride who is very relaxed and happy with her bridal look to a very lucky groom! A bride generally will visit once or twice, purchase the dress and then come back for 2/3 fittings.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting some very inspiring ladies and playing a part in probably their most important outfit!! The very best part for me is seeing those images from them on their big day, its precious!

What is your favourite style of wedding dress?

An original vintage lace either 30's/50's gown.

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?

A little bow sown inside your dress or on your garter!

What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?

My original Jacques Heim 1950's lace gown. Jacques was a Parisian designer and dressed the likes of sophia loren, the queen of Belgium and many more, he had a hand in the start of the fashion house Dior! The dress was a classic and was worn by my bride Victoria who totally made it her own. It really had something about it and totally captured my imagination and wonder of its past!
