Lucy creates timeless, understated wedding dresses that sculpt the body and flow with natural effortlessness. All pieces are made from the finest Italian silks and French laces which create a lightweight and contemporary feel and fit. Lucy mixes fabrics to create contrasting textures within her designs and is best known for her low and captivating back detailing. Brides can either choose a dress from Lucy’s collection or use one of her designs as a template to help them create their own personalised features. Lucy also enjoys working with brides to create a new unique design. Once the design has been finalised each bride will have a toile fitting where a replica of the dress is made in calico to ensure the fit is perfect and the bride is happy with everything before the dress is made in the required silks. Lucy wants each of her brides to have a relaxed and enjoyable experience so every step of the process is meticulously managed by Lucy from your first meeting to each fitting and the collection of your finished dress. Each dress has a little blue bow sewn into it so Lucy’s brides has that something blue on their wedding day. “I am continually inspired by the positivity that surrounds weddings.
