Jenny King opened her Sussex based embroidery design and production studio in 2004, specialising in contemporary high-end embroidery and went on to carve a niche within the fashion, interior, film and theatre industries, and earn recognition as the ‘go to’ for high-end embroidery design and production. Jenny is a passionate exponent of this specialised craft, her studio produces a modern aesthetic with the craftsmanship and quality of this highly skilled traditional technique. Over the following 20 years her work has graced many catwalks, TV, Theatres and Music productions, and the studio now boasts of an extensive roster of clients ranging from Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Erdem, Tom Ford and music legends such as Madonna, Sam Rider, Spice Girls, Take That, Mika and Self Esteem. The Studio also produces bespoke occasional wear, and being a favourite for the Royals has worked on outfits for significant events such as the King’s Coronation and the Queens’ funeral. With this continued success, her desire for the highest quality, 2024 sees the exciting launch of her first Bridal Collection Jenny King and her team have cleverly created an enchanting and eclectic Bridal veil collection, which consists of a progressive blend of three defining beautiful Bridal themes; ‘Wild Meadows’, ‘Songbirds’ and ‘Cosmic Love’. The mood is playful, with feels of fresh floral English summer blooms, with the dreamy ‘Wild Meadows’ design of delicate whimsical daisies dancing and tumbling on tulle. There is off- beat quirky romance with the ‘Songbird’ design with symbolic Tattoo and lyrical inspired motifs such as dancing songbirds, love letters and song words. And ‘Cosmic Love’ is an enchanting and otherworldly design drawing inspiration from celestial symbols such as orbiting hearts, radiating sun beams, and shooting stars.
