The Event Dressers Full Description
Here at The Event Dressers we offer a highly flexible, affordable and bespoke service. We have a complete range of decorations to style your venue using a combination of chair decor, centrepieces, table accessories such as charger plates, napkin detail & hire, table slips etc as well as personalised items such as table plans, place cards and more. We also have a range of table linen, dance floors, furniture hire and all of the finishing touches. With our knowledge of venues, themes and current trends our styling team work with you to create a design that flawlessly highlights your venue and fits your personal style. We love working with all of our couples on an individual basis as we know every day is as unique and as important as you. At our Cramlington showroom we offer free consultations where we can show you our full product range and discuss your ideas. Styling this throughout the year we keep up to date with the ever changing trends and themes. This is also where our onsite workshop is and where we create some of our fabulous handmade products. If you are unsure of exactly what it is you are looking for please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. You are amazing!!
Could not recommend highly enough! From the communication to the sashes on the chairs, the lanterns down the aisle, and the determination to get the fairy lights up in the woodland walk area despite the weather - absolutely perfect! Nicola even went to the venue in advance to make sure she knew where to put the fairy lights for us. Thank you so much for making our venue look even more beautiful, you are amazing x

It was everything I wanted and more!!
I can not thank you enough for the professional stunning job you made of our wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast . It was everything I wanted and more. I would highly recommend you to anybody who is looking for an event dresser . we hired a company to provide the flower wall , and the event dressers completely dressed the rest of the room. the flower arch, the chairs , trees , drapes, fairy lights etc. it was all simply stunning. and the way the tables were dressed in the wedding breakfast

What can we say except Wow!!
What can we say except Wow!! Can’t recommend Nicola and her team enough, we got married on Saturday and our venue looked amazing! It was hard trying to picture all the things we had chosen and how they would look but Nicolas work is incredible and she really has an eye for detail, everyone complemented us on the venue decor and all the little touches that were added, they are so friendly and helped us with our every need and question, nothing was any trouble for them! 100% recommend, Thank you

The rooms looked absolutely beautiful!
Just wanted to say thank you so much for the beautiful decor on my wedding day , the rooms looked absolutely beautiful . I’ve just seen the pics on Instagram too, they just look amazing, yourselves and Sharon made the venue look even more stunning than it already is. All my guests commented on how lovely everything looked too and I totally agree, I was so happy with it on the day and now I can see the pictures and take it all in properly it’s even better-bringing back lovely memories. Beautiful and elegantly executed
Nicola kindly decorated our wedding ceremony at the Spanish city dome on Friday 30th August 2019. We discussed ideas for chairs, tables and aisle accessories and she brought them all to life exactly as we imagined. Beautiful and elegantly executed. Highly recommended and made the iconic Dome come to life.

What is your most memorable wedding?

It is so hard to narrow down a single wedding. We have been in the industry for over 10 years now and have made some great memories along the way.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Bespoke, flexible, luxury, romantic, creative

What about your business are you most proud of?

Our customer service. We really do care about your big day, we have no minimum spend, no time limit on appointments, no rules and regulations and that's because this is your big day and we want it to be as important to us as it is to you.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do not follow the rules! So many of our couples ask "Should we have this?" or "Do we have to have that?" and the answer you will usually hear from us is no... We work with so many couples with different ideas and different priorities and we will always be honest with you and share our thoughts but it all comes down to the fact that it is your big day. There are some lovely traditions out there sometimes that's all they are and if they dont mean anything to you why should you do them? It is important to remember what this day is about and that is YOU. It is about being so in love that you want to share the rest of your lives together and do so in front of your closest family and friends.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

We worked closely with a Bride to arrange for a personalised aisle runner for the groom, it had a special message printed onto the bottom of it and wasn't revealed until the last moment when he arrived at the venue. Such a special touch!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We always invite all of our couples to our showroom so we can take time to get to know them and understand what it is they are trying to achieve, we then put a quote together and email this across within 24 hours (unless otherwise specified). Four to six weeks before the big day we get in touch to see where things are up to, make all final arrangements and arrange payment. Again, we always invite couples to come in at any point throughout the process to have a look at things or discuss any ideas or plans.

What are the decorative trends with brides currently?

Trends are forever changing however Sage Green & Dusky Pinks will always be a firm favourite! Neutrals, nudes & pampas are still super popular too but the classic whites & Ivory pair so well with any pop of colour.
