Julia was amazing from the off, she took the vibes of what we wanted for our wedding reception and absolutely ran with it. Her eye for detail, combinations and fantastic collection of incredible props were perfect and complemented the venue so well. She was really communicative and flexible, and the mood boards she created were so representative of what she came up with for us. Having her take care of everything at our reception venue was a massive weight off our shoulders, and I can't thank her enough for making our special day so unique and perfect for us.

I worked with Julia on a styled shoot and I can honestly say the marquee she styled was like walking into the most beautiful Beduin tent in the middle of Marrakech, absolutely stunning! Attention to detail is perfect 👌 Very highly recommended xxx

What can I say about Julia and Curious Magpie... We had a large tipi wedding, and came to Julia with some pretty strange thematic ideas, and she embraced every one, turning what was already a pretty special canvas (literally!), into the most perfect space we could have hoped for. Beautiful plants, greenery and foliage to encompass a jungle feel, a ‘memory tree’ to honour and remember lost family members who couldn’t be there, beautiful signage... just a perfectly creative and generous supplier who did everything we could have asked for to make the day perfect for us. She’s a legend, and so lovely to boot! Do not hesitate in meeting up with her to discuss your own event!

Jules is fantastic! She’s so creative with the space & produces the most sumptuous designs you could ask for. She should be your first port of call for your wedding or any event that needs a bit of a wow factor. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Jules was our planner for our wedding in September and we cannot recommend her enough! We had so many compliments from our guests saying how good the food and service was, about the lovely quirky personal touches and just overall how much FUN it was!! The artwork for the chalk boards was lovely... sausage dog themed in honour of our pooch, and we were able to rename all the cocktails (which were delicious) on our own personal drinks menu. Jules and her team were so easy to work with and gave us complete peace of mind for our village hall wedding, which certainly did not look like a village hall when Jules had finished working her magic! Throughout the planning process Jules was on hand to answer any question or worry we might have and was certainly a very calming influence on the day before the wedding. Well what can we say! Jules made our wedding reception just magical. She has a truly creative soul and listens very well to your visions and ideas too. She helped us so much with everything and we definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without her by our sides. Very reliable and great at communicating. Jules did the decor and styling for our wedding reception in September in Nottingham. The venue looked absolutely stunning and we cannot fault what she did with the place. We gave a brief on the theme we wanted over email and provided a few ideas via a Pinterest board and what she did from the limited details we supplied was amazing. Jules managed to transform a huge open hall in to a stylish, warm, and welcoming carnival themed affair. Our guests were full of compliments and the bar staff at the venue said it was the best the Grange Hall had ever looked in all the times they had catered their. Jules did our wedding reception in August 2018 and it was fantastic. We got married abroad so it was so good to let our hair down when we got back and know everything was taken care of!
