The Duke of Cakes

Hello, I'm Louise Duke and I'm cake designer and baker at The Duke of Cakes. The Duke of Cakes was established by myself back in 2013, one year after I attempted to make my own wedding cake! Since then we have gone on to win two awards as Wedding Cake designer of 2021 and 2022. I'm a home based baker and all cakes are created from my pink cottage in a small town called Warmley, just outside of Bath and Bristol. I am a big country girl at heart and my own wedding was a barn wedding with a relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughs! We are known for our wonderful rustic style cakes such as the semi naked and naked cakes and buttercream piped cakes. I love using fresh fruits and flowers to decorate and always pick locally if possible. I also LOVE creating fully iced designs which you can see from my gallery page. I believe your wedding cake should not only look fab but also to taste delicious from the lightest of sponges to the richest, gooiest buttercream filling!
