As an award finalist for Essex Wedding Cake Designer of the year 2025, I am dedicated to creating your dream wedding cake.
I am a fondant cake designer (I do not offer buttercream, naked or semi naked cakes), and love creating beautiful, elegant showstopping centrepieces for your special day, including crafting handmade sugar flowers to match your wedding flowers. I do also enjoy creating something unique and quirky if you would like to theme your wedding cake.
From your initial enquiry to setting up on your wedding day, I am here to take the stress away from at least this part of the planning process. All of my meetings are held at my Billericay cake studio, where we will discuss all the elements of your cake. After which I will be able to personally design your wedding cake, taking great care to make sure all the details we have discussed are included.
I include delivery and set up of your wedding cake, on the morning of your wedding, to your chosen venue in all of my packages.
My most memorable wedding was when I designed and created a wedding cake that the couple knew nothing about.
I ran a one off competition to celebrate moving to my new studio, where a couple would win their wedding cake for free, but would not know what it looked like until the reveal on their wedding day! I met with them beforehand to get an idea of their likes, colours and to get to know them more personally. This helped me design their dream wedding cake.
The venue loved the idea, and helped to keep the cake hidden until it was time for the big reveal. All the guests had been talking about it and everyone was so excited, it was an amazing moment to see the reactions of the Bride, Groom and their family & friends.
And the most important thing was, they absolutely LOVED the cake!

Remember it is your wedding day, you can not please everyone of your guests fully with your choices. As long as it is what YOU want that is all that matters.

One of my couples had a personalised Monogram made for their wedding, which I them embossed onto their wedding cake.

Once a couple have confirmed and booked with me, I will arrange a design planning meeting with them. This usually takes place around 4 months prior to their wedding day. At this point, we will discuss everything to do with the cake, and I will finalise the design.
After the meeting I will draw up everything we have discussed, along with a details sketch (if required) and their final invoice. The final payment is due 6 weeks prior to the wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, I will deliver and set up their cake at the chosen venue.
Between the time of booking and the wedding day, I am on hand to answer any questions they may have.

I would say a travel themed cake.
It was completely non traditional for a wedding cake and instead was a cake to look like 2 suitcases (covered in stickers of all the places the couple had visited together) it then had a globe on top along with a hand made topper of the bride & groom, their three dogs and their VW campervan!

After working at a beautiful wedding venue as a wedding coordinator, I fell back into my love of baking whilst I was on maternity leave. I grew my business on the side once I returned to work, but ultimately decided that I wanted to fully concentrate on my cake business and I have not looked back.

Probably an illusion cake, depending on the theme.
