What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding cake has to be be my sisters. Having to be cake maker and maid of honour was a tall stretch but it worked out well in the end!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure you book your wedding cake well in advance to get the cake maker you want. Be sure to also have a tasting session before you order!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favourite personal touch at a wedding is using the favours as a tribute to someone who was no longer with us.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When a couple contact me, the first thing I need to know is the date of the wedding. Once we have established the date, I would offer the bride and groom a chance to meet to discuss their cake and also offer a tasting session.
After discussing all the design options in depth, and the bride and groom have decided on a final design, I would take all relevant information I need to put together a detailed quote.
This is then emailed over to the couple to look over and decide if they wish to go ahead and book.
To book a cake, I do require a £100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. This will confirm your date and the remainder of the balance will not be due until 6 weeks before the wedding.
