Before we’d even set a date!

After meeting Hanna at a wedding fair, we chose her to make our wedding cake before we’d even set a date! This was the best decision as our cake looked and tasted beautiful; everything we wanted and more. Throughout the whole process, Hanna’s professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. She was also kind enough to make my dad’s 60th birthday cake shortly after, which was just as delicious as our wedding cake. We couldn’t recommend Little Peony Cakes enough, thank you so much Hanna

Everything about our experience was perfect

Everything about our experience with Hanna was perfect. She listened to our ideas and made our dream cake a reality. Not only did the cake look incredible but several guests even said it was the best cake they’ve ever tasted. What is your signature cake?

I specialise in understated and elegant buttercream wedding cakes, and most popular cake flavour is Lemon and Orange (very closely followed by white chocolate and raspberry!)

What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?

A completely navy coloured wedding cake, with bright white flowers which looked amazing and really stood out against the dark base!

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

Before starting my own business, I was a chef in a professional setting (working mostly in the pastry section). After 6 months of baking only occasion cakes, I took the plunge into the wedding industry and have never looked back!
