Here at Ginilla cake design we offer a fully bespoke, tailor made experience for you to design your wedding cake. Our package includes; A full consultation and design service. A cake taster box to help you choose which cake flavours you'd like for your own cake. 24/7 access to our email should you have any questions or queries. Our combined 14 years of expertise in the wedding industry. Our minimum order for 2024 starts from £500 for semi-naked cake designs or £550 for fondant iced or full buttercream designs. For your minimum order you would receive a three tiered cake, with no decoration that feeds either 70 or 100 servings. Any other elements added to your design would be an additional cost to the minimum order, as well as delivery and setup which would be calculated by time taken and miles travelled per round trip from our Scarborough base.

We gave always used Gina at Ginilla cakes for all our birthday cakes, and these only not look out of this world but are delicious too! However, she surpassed herself with our wedding cake, it was the perfect representation for our woodland hand fasting. All our guests commented on the detail and all wanted more than one piece. We even had a gluten free layer which tasted as good as the 'normal' layers. Gina always listens to what we want and makes our ideas so much better.

Fantastic job on our wedding cake

Gina and Gillian did such a fantastic job on our wedding cake. We were blown away with the quality of it. I showed them a picture of the cake we were wanting and she literally made it look exactly like it. We had three different flavours and they were delicious, especially the chocolate ganache coating around each tier. We were so pleased and would highly recommend for a beautiful cake!

I'm so pleased we went with Ginilla for our wedding cake. We worked with Gina who was brilliant throughout and despite it being lockdown made it a really easy experience. From our first video call she talked us through our vision for the day, got an idea of what we might be looking for and developed some amazing designs to narrow down what we wanted for our perfect cake. They sent out the tasters in the post, were happy to discuss ideas and shared sketches and images to put together ideas.

Where do I start...we have loved our cakes from Ginilla Cake Design for Wherlast few years so there was no one else we would have chosen for our wedding cake. The whole process has been a dream, even when we had to rearrange our wedding twice, from choosing our flavours to the design. We chose a 4 tier cake with 3 different flavours (White chocolate and raspberry, pink champagne and chocolate with salted caramel). All were delicious and went down a treat!

Our cake was beautiful, just what we wanted. We did everything online as we lived so far away so didn't know what the cake would look like until the day, but the communication was great and Gill and Gina listened to what we wanted and used photos I sent to put something together. The cake tasted as amazing as it looked!

What can I say our wedding cake looked fantastic and was exactly what we had envisaged tying in with our coastal theme perfectly. From our first consultation to our finished product Gina was an absolute professional, approachable and just such a lovely lady. Gina listened to our ideas with such enthusiasm and incorporated those within the cake perfectly, along with adding her expertise and advice. The cake tasted as great as it looked very moist and the flavours were outstanding.

Everything was perfect

Thank you Ginilla Cake Design for our beautiful wedding cake! Our wedding was in August 2022 and everything from first consultation to receiving our cake was perfect. To top it off it tasted just as amazing as it looked! We were grateful for how easy the design process was and the ability to sample some of the delicious flavours before deciding on our preferences.
