Dolce Lusso Cakes

The cake testing blew us away every detail to get the flavour we wanted was made and also the design, communication in the month ahead was perfect, we loved how passionate Kate was too about what we wanted on the day, the cake was amazing and we had so many comments regarding this, also was advised to freeze the top layer for ourselves to eat when we are back from our honeymoon, we still have this to look forward too!! All in all I would recommend Dolce Lusso cakes to anyone planning a wedding

Kate really understood our style for the day and prior to our tasting session we exchanged lots of emails with images and ideas to ensure we were on the right lines. She organised a lovely tasting session for myself and my mother which helped us understand what we wanted in more detail. I actually changed my mind from what I originally wanted and Kate was able to accommodate my wishes easily without fuss. She very kindly lent us a beautiful wooden trunk stand for the day as well.

Kate was fantastic, we had a consultation at her home in late 2015 to discuss our ideas. The designs she created were exactly what we were looking for and the finished product was beyond anything I could have imagined. The flavours were fantastic and Kate has a huge variety of options. My guests have been raving about the cake since the wedding.

I was astounded when I first saw the cake and it looked spectacular and held its own in the Versailles suite (Danesfiled House Hotel), which is a hard feet! We truly enjoyed designing the cake with Kate and loved how the design turned out. I couldn’t believe that the flowers were handmade out of icing - Kate has a real talent! As for the taste, both flavours were truly delicious and our guests all commented on how great they tasted.

If I could put a number higher than 10 in order to vote for Kate, then I would. Dolce Lusso cakes was by far the best cake company (and baker) we came across, and I was very thorough in planning our wedding. We immediately fell in love with the look of Kate's cakes at a wedding fair and after tasting it and speaking to her about our ideas, we knew we wanted her to bake our cake. The design process was so straightforward and Kate accommodated our every wish, including my husband surprising me.

Kate was fantastic from start to finish. She was always easy to contact when we needed her and replied to emails promptly. The cake was delicious and we received many compliments. As well as being tasty, it was hands down the most beautiful cake we have ever seen. Again, we received many compliments on how it looked.

Kate was amazing! We felt we could just leave the cake and design to her and not have to worry. We were totally at ease with her lovely manner and professionalism. The cake was stunning and everyone said how delicious it was. Kate came to the venue and set it all up for us and we just cannot thank her enough.

We were delighted with our wedding cake as were our guests. We wanted something completely different and Kate advised us and was completely flexible in meeting all our needs. We had a number of Gluten free guests and our layer of Gluten free chocolate was a big hit with no compromise on taste at all.
