I'm Becky, an award winning professional hair & make-up artist specialising in Bridal Hair and Make-up. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, I cover Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and the North West. Having had a passion for make-up and hairstyling from a young age, I started working in a hair salon on Saturdays. I then went on to college and trained to HND level in Media and Special Effects Make-up and NVQ2 level in Hairdressing. I started out in the industry in 2006 and since then I have gained experience in Bridal, Fashion, Theatre, Events and TV although bridal is where my passion lies I love meeting new people and taking on new challenges and provide a friendly, reliable and professional service bespoke to your personal requirements. I use a range of professional high end products, that are long wearing and look great on camera. MAC, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercia are some of my favourites.

I felt like a million dollars!

Becky did hair and makeup for myself, my mum and my 4 bridesmaids! She was amazing! My makeup and hair lasted 14hrs and I felt like a million dollars! Rebecca was absolutely amazing both on and in the run-up to my wedding day. I was apprehensive about having my makeup done as I had never had it done professionally before, but Rebecca was great at answering all my queries via email and reassuring me. There were some minor hiccups in the final hour before the ceremony (not related to hair and makeup!), but Rebecca was great at keeping a calm atmosphere. My makeup stayed on all day (I didn't have to do any touch ups), and the hair stayed in place

I cannot recommend Becky highly enough! My hair and makeup was a big worry for me on the run up to the wedding, but Becky always knew exactly what to suggest and went above and beyond to keep me happy and relaxed throughout the process. Not only did she do a fantastic job on mine and my bridesmaids makeup and hair (which was all still intact 12+ hours later- impressive!!) but she was a wonderful addition to the morning, having a laugh and a joke with us all but also being a calming influence.

Becky was utterly incredible

Becky was utterly incredible. She did my hair and make-up as well as my mum's and a bridesmaid's for my wedding. We laughed from start to finish and she made me feel so comfortable with how I looked which I didn't think was possible. I felt amazing, my make-up and hair looked brilliant in the photos and both my hair and make-up literally lasted over 24 hours (it was a long day!). Describe your typical process with a couple.

I would recommend a trial around 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding day. I will travel to your home to carry this out. It is essential for the bride to have a trial so that you are 100% happy with how you are going to look on your wedding day. It also allows us to try out my products before hand, making sure you are not sensitive towards them. A trial usually lasts around 2 hours and we will discuss the hairstyle and make-up you wish to achieve. I will create the desired look, making any adjustments until you are completely satisfied with your look. It is also beneficial to have any hair accessories/veil to hand so we can fit this into your style. On the day, I will arrive at your home or chosen venue at the time arranged at the trial. I will set up and discuss with you any changes to your look you may have. I will start with your bridal party, creating their looks first, leaving the bride till last to ensure that your look is flawless. I will stay with you until you are ready to leave as lipgloss/lipstick and veil will be applied once you are in your dress. For large parties an assistant may be required.
