Charnell was responsive from our first exchange about our wedding, and her support and thoughtfulness continued throughout 2020 as we had to reschedule our date. Charnell took the time to truly understand what I would like and also the style for my bridesmaids. I was so pleased with the end result and all of our hair styles remained in place all day and night! I would 100% recommend Charnell to other brides/non-brides!! I came across and booked Charnell as a result of finding her on Instagram. She was incredibly professional and responsive when I initially reached out whilst being very flexible throughout the planning stages of my wedding. Firstly with respect to me living and working abroad, which meant that I couldn't be firm on dates for a hair trial and secondly when Covid hit and I re-areanged my wedding date AND venue and chopped and changed how many people would be needing styling.

A Travelling hairstylist is what i needed for my Summer wedding and i was lucky to find Charnell. She is a professional in her field and made me look absolutely fabulous, i had soft bridal vintage waves. If you're looking for a bridal hairstylist, Charnell from Chatel Noire is the only Hair stylist you want! With my background being Caribbean and my wedding party of 8 ranging from, caribbean, Mixed Heritage, Chinese, Pakistani, Somali and Turkish Cypriot, having someone be able to manage all different hair types and textures but achieve a uniform style and look for the bridal party was a key aspect of the day! From the quick response after sending an enquiry, to the phone calls to maintain communication and discuss ideas, looks and timings of the day, I felt like I was always Charnell's priority. After agreeing to costing of a package and tailoring it to my needs, I felt confident with how the day would go. Her pricing is fair, all encompassing and great value for money. Having Charnell do all 8 members of the bridal party plus me the bride was a huge ask and challenge to take on. It meant Charnell had to be impeccable with timing (which she was) have adequate amount of tools and equipment (she had 100000s of pins!) and have a calm, confident, reassuring professional demeanor throughout (which she did!) Charnell's knowledge about hair was plentiful, for example she knew what products would compliment my hair and show it off to be the best it can be on my special day. She did extensive research on the hair types of all my bridal party so that she could ensure she had appropriate products to support all of them and make their hair look perfect also! Charnell offered me not 1 but 2 trials in order to test out techniques to make sure that on my wedding day everything went as smooth as possible and she knew the exact process would be to create my style, leaving me stress free and relaxed about this aspect of the day. The day started very early and Charnell was very prompt and full of energy, with her assistant also joining. We had so many guests comment on the elegance my bridal party had, and their hair was a big reason for this (along with makeup and the dresses). Charnell was with me right up until I turned the corner to walk down the aisle! Making sure that when all the guests saw me I was the picture of perfection. I can honestly say she went above & beyond what I thought her package would include. When people ask me to recommend a wedding hairdresser/stylist it will always be Charnell at Chatel Noire as you can have pure faith in letting her be a part of your wedding, you will feel excited, confident and relaxed! I couldn't have asked for more!
