Brideshair (Est 2004) is an award winning, fully qualified bespoke mobile hair-styling company based in Dorset. Specilising in small weddings. We do not discriminate if you are a lone bride. Tracy will travel to your private residence or required civil ceremony venue, offering a one to one service for you and your bridal party on your wedding day. However we do have a travel limit sadly due to increase levels of traffic especially within the summer season. 15 miles east of Ringwood, 18 miles West of Poole & 20 miles North of Wimbourne. We are very happy to discuss this at the point of 1st contact Brideshair (Tracy) has over 40 years in the industry 28 years of which she has been a sole trader. Brideshair is an inclusive hairdressing service, welcoming all faiths & the LGBTQ+ community. When you choose us we are there for you for the entire run up to your wedding day ready to assist whenever & wherever possible and we stay with you the full morning if required. Part of being a stylist doesn't stop at being a hairdresser and on request I'll help you into your wedding gown, being there to help make your dream come true from start to finish, ensuring you are comfortable from hairstyle to high heels.

Recreated my trial & wedding day hair perfectly

I was so grateful to have Tracy with me on the morning of my wedding - she was such a professional, with a calming presence, and even helped me get into my dress. She recreated my trial & wedding day hair perfectly, and created the updo of my dreams! I really wanted a loose, romantic updo and she did an absolutely beautiful job. Despite rain and lots of dancing, my hair lasted the whole day, and even looked lovely and curly when I took it down and this lasted until I next washed it!

Very knowledgeable about hair

I would 100% recommend Brideshair for to anyone who is getting married. Not only very knowledgeable about hair and what will suit you, but is also very knowledgeable about other wedding suppliers. On the day Tracy was calm and organised which made me feel so much better especially when I started to stress! Tracy was amazing!

Tracy was amazing! She did my bridal hair and my 5 bridesmaids , making sure each of the girls was happy and altering things based on their hair type. Tracy stayed until my dress was on to place my veil, & was so kind & reassuring. My hair stayed really well looking like it had just been done all day & throughout the evening too, I can’t recommend Tracy enough!

Most stressful part of my wedding planning

Brideshair cancelled my booking just 4 months before my wedding, only returned half of my deposit and have stopped responding to my emails. The whole experience with Brideshair has caused more stress and anxiety than any other aspect of my wedding. Thankfully I have now found a hairdresser who is kind, accommodating and professional - none of which I experienced with Brideshair. All of my other suppliers I have found through the Bridebook app have been amazing, I’m shocked that they would be a recommended supplier after my experience. Future brides, please save yourself any unnecessary wedding stress and do not book with Tracy at Brideshair.

Always working to time on the day & in our whole career NEVER made a Bride late After having the opportunity to work for a few months in the US in NY it made me believe in 2004 there was a market within the internet for a wedding Hair specialist - I was one of the first mobile hairdressing businesses in Dorset to set up a wedding hair website.

Be wise and prioritise well when choosing your professionals who will make you look your best on your special day- this are fundamentally your photographer, your make up lady and your hairdresser!

Placing a smile on the face of everyone and being challenged to replicate a brides desire look!

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

Your hair is an extension of your personality - so communication is key with your stylist A good Hairdresser is not a make up artist and good a make up artist is not a Hairdresser! BOOK two people who specialise in the one area, the time will never be rushed.

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

Making our brides laugh throughout the morning, By never being late - applying ample time for everyone to be completed with time to spare!

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

Its essential to have your hair correctly prepared prior to styling out - your day is a minimum of 12 hours and remember the weather may have a big role to play in your day, so prep is key to stay looking as good for your evening guests as you did your day ones
