What is your most memorable wedding?
One of my most memorable weddings was for a bride who envisioned a romantic, fairy-tale inspired day. Her venue was a castle, so we created soft curls with a vintage floral hairpiece to create a timeless, elegant look.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Romantic, elegant, timeless, soft, and effortless.
What about your business are you most proud of?
What I’m most proud of in my wedding hair business is the trust and relationships I build with my brides. I love seeing the brides look and feel their absolute best is what truly makes my work so rewarding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My No.1 wedding planning tip for couples is to stay true to what feels right for you as a couple. It’s easy to get caught up in trends, family expectations, or the pressure to make everything perfect. But at the end of the day, your wedding day is about celebrating your love and the beginning of your journey together.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favorite personal touches I’ve seen at a wedding is when couples incorporate elements that reflect their unique story. These little details truly make the day feel more intimate and memorable, creating a deep connection not only between the couple but also with their loved ones.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My process with each couple starts with a relaxed and thorough consultation, where we discuss their vision for the big day. I want to understand their personal style, the theme of their wedding, and how they want to feel on their special day. From there, I suggest we meet for a hair trial where we will create hairstyles that will complement the brides look, taking into account their hair type, dress, and overall vibe of the wedding. On the day, I arrive at the chosen location, ensuring a calm, stress-free experience, and create a beautiful final look that will last throughout the day. My aim is always to make the bridal party their most confident and beautiful, leaving them to enjoy their day with one less thing to worry about.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the creativity that comes with each wedding—every bride has her own unique style, and to be able bring that vision to life through hair is so rewarding. There's something truly special about helping a bride feel confident and beautiful on one of the most memorable days of her life.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
My No.1 hair tip for a bride is to start prepping your hair well in advance. Healthy, nourished hair will hold your style better and last longer throughout the day. Use deep conditioning treatments a few months before the wedding to keep your hair soft and shiny, and avoid drastic cuts or color changes too close to the big day. On the day itself, make sure your hair is clean and dry for the best results, and always have a touch-up spray or hairspray on hand to keep your look flawless!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
On the wedding day, I focus on creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere from the moment I arrive. I make sure to arrive early to give myself plenty of time, allowing the bride to feel at ease and not rushed. I keep the conversation light and positive, offering reassurance and taking my time with each step of the hairstyling process
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
* Drink plenty of water to keep your skin glowing and your hair looking fresh.
* Try not to run your fingers through your hair too often, as this can cause it to lose its shape.
* Bring a small kit with hairspray, bobby pins, and a comb to manage any last-minute adjustments.
* Stress can show on your face, so take moments to breathe deeply, smile, and enjoy the process—your beauty will shine through naturally.
