Amanda Roberts - Hair & Makeup

Amanda was absolutely brilliant. She worked with my ideas and added more! She was a relaxing presence and ensured everything went to plan! Cannot thank her enough!

I had no idea where to start with hair and make up, but was so glad I found Amanda. She was great at interpreting my very vague direction, and really nailed the look. As someone who doesn't usually wear much makeup I was very worried about looking overly made up, but Amanda managed to get just the right balance. She was a really calming presence on the morning, and even stepped in to drive my parents' bag to the chapel when they realised they'd left it in the house!

Amanda Roberts did my hair and makeup for my wedding at the Gore Hotel in London on 25 November 2018. My hair and makeup was absolutely perfect and lasted the whole day and evening. Amanda is so talented. She really got my style and I felt like a more polished version of myself. She is so friendly and made me feel really relaxed on the day. Would one million percent recommend her.

Amanda did my wedding hair/make up and also my daughter and maid of honour. She was brilliant, calm and professional. We were all delighted with how we looked and had endless complements.

Amanda did an incredible job of my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I am particularly pale and I was very concerned about my makeup artist matching my skin tone but Amanda did this with ease. She listened to what I was after and did an incredible job of making me feel comfortable and confident. She also made my Mum feel very at home when she had her makeup done, we both had a fantastic time with her. Our makeup looked amazing in all the photos. I would recommend her to anyone!

I cannot recommend Amanda more highly. She did my hair & make-up for my wedding in June 2018 and also that of three of my family members. I found her early on in my wedding planning and knew after reading her reviews and visiting her website that she was exactly what I was looking for. Even before I contacted her it was easy to understand her prices and the booking process. She was professional from the first contact and I felt in safe hands. I first met Amanda when I had my trial a few months before my wedding and she was amazing. She understood the look I wanted to achieve on my wedding day and put me at complete ease. She gave me multiple tips which to this day I still use. My trial day happened to also be my birthday and I carried the look into the evening and my husband and in-laws to be commented on how nice I looked. In the run up to our wedding day Amanda was in touch regarding timing and planning and made useful suggestions as she had previously been to our venue. On our wedding day Amanda was there on time and on schedule throughout. She was so calm on the day and helped ensure the 'getting ready' went to plan! My sister, mother & mother-in-law were all delighted with the work which Amanda did for them. I was so pleased with the hair & make-up I had and most important of all my husband thought I looked beautiful. For someone who has always had so little confidence in her apperance, Amanda truely made my feel wonderful on my weddding day and I will always been so grateful. I cannot recommend her enough. Amanda is professional, a lovely person and very good at her job.

Amanda did my hair and makeup for my wedding, plus my bridesmaids' hair and my mum's makeup. She arrived super early on the morning of the wedding and had a thorough timetable which made sure we were all ready on time. It was quite manic before we left the house but Amanda kept us all calm while working quickly herself. She perfectly captured the look I was after. Not too heavy but she also toned down the red-tones in my skin. My eye makeup was gorgeous and stayed in place all day, despite a few tears! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
