Located between lush, jungle-clad mountains and shores of the beautiful Corong Corong Bay, Buko Beach Resort is inspired by the spectacular natural beauty of northern Palawan. Our distinct cottages, stunning Grand Villa and our restaurant and beachfront bar have been designed and built with native materials by Filipino craftsmen — all with a vision for a unique style that is the hallmark of the ‘Buko’ experience. In the Philippines, the word ‘Buko’ means coconut, and the coconut is commonly called “the tree of life” – due to its diverse number of uses ranging from food to fuel to building materials. We appreciate the land on which our resort was built upon (not a single coconut palm was removed on the property), and strive to maintain the integrity of our operation with an environmentally-conscious vision to the best of our ability. Situated on one of the most stunning locations in Palawan (frequently voted as the most beautiful island in the world), Buko Beach Resort is surrounded by tropical vegetation, karst limestone cliffs and the incredible beaches, islands and lagoons that lie within the Bacuit Bay.
