We propose you half-day trekking trips (for about 2-3 hours) or longer trips (for about 5 hours) focused on the northern side of the Cava and especially along the spectacular “ring-shaped path belonging to the rocky village”, the only one mid-side way of the Cava that provides breathtaking panoramic glimpses and leads to one of the most suggestive and uncontaminated places of the Iblei Mountains. Along this way you’ll discover little known charming archaeological areas as: the Castello Sicano, the rocky village of Pernamazzoni, the archaeological sites of Convento and Capreria. Prepare yourself to enjoy also a good cup of coffee and typical pastries during the break-time at the shelter house of Kalura.
