Ceremonies Ceremonies take place on the lawn beside the lake, providing a breathtaking backdrop of the Lakehouse and vineyards. The ceremony area includes: Chairs for guests A signing table and chairs Wine barrels Receptions Pre-dinner, wine is served under the Birch Trees next to the Cellar Door. Receptions are held on the top floor of the Lakehouse, offering spectacular views of the lake through floor-to-ceiling windows. As night falls, spotlights illuminate the trees across the lake, enhancing the view. The reception area is adorned with fairy lights crisscrossing above, and the dance floor is covered to ensure celebrations can continue regardless of the weather. The reception space is arranged according to your specifications (see floor plans). THE VENUE A visit to K1 Vineyard begins the moment you turn into the drive, following a steep avenue of trees that perfectly frames 'The Lakehouse', home to the stunning K1 Cellar Door. You might feel as if you've arrived in the Swiss Alps or the Canadian Rockies as you sweep left around the man-made lake that gives the Cellar Door its name. If you're lucky enough to visit during the autumn months, you'll marvel at the myriad hues of the trees that encircle the entire Adelaide Hills vineyard.
