Need a memorable bush wedding venue with accommodation?
We only host one wedding per weekend to ensure exclusivity for the wedding party. A standby generator at all venue options ensures smooth operations on the day. A minimum of 20 rooms need to be booked by wedding guests on the wedding night for us to be able to host a wedding function at the lodge.
A choice of three ceremony venues and two reception venues gives you the freedom to plan an extraordinary wedding celebration in the heart of the African bush.
Weddings with all the bells and whistles
Sunset at Mongena Dam among the free-roaming animals sets the stage for those awe-inspiring wedding photographs where magical, memorable moments are created. The fire lighting ceremony has become a trademark at Mongena, symbolising the beginning of a new life as husband and wife and signalling the start of the wedding celebrations. To top it all, a dedicated, professional wedding coordination service is included in the venue hire before and on the special day.
