This area also lends itself to intimate weddings ranging from special occasion lunches and dinners for up to 36 guests, cocktail receptions for around 50 guests or intimate weddings with a difference. There is also the option to hire the entire boutique hotel on an exclusive basis.
Furthermore, Clico’s restaurant can be reserved for private weddings by prior arrangement. Glass dividers can be used to split the restaurant into two separate sections in order to accommodate wedding celebrations, showcasing the space’s versatility.
Clico Restaurant is open for fine food service to both in house guests and outside patrons alike. Should you wish to consider this space for a wedding, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
It is left to the managements discretion to allow weddings in the Clico Restaurant as well as allow the possibility of corkage.

It was my birthday and everyone, including the SECURITY GUARD and every waiter knew that it was my birthday and all wished me a happy birthday. The tasting menu was honestly lovely. Super flavourful, well balanced and just perfectly paired with the wine. The salmon and pork belly was delicious…. And then… the frozen cheesecake was sublime. Sibusisu looked after us and he was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and friendly...This was one of the most delicious tasting menus in joburg. Chef Damian was very involved with the guest and restaurant manager Sibusiso was a great host and had fantastic recommendations regarding wine and food pairing. The risotto was life changing! Due to us arriving late at night, I phoned the day before to make sure we'd be let in and let slip that it was our wedding day. Despite it being the middle of the night, we had someone personally waiting to meet us at the gate, take our bags and be genuinely exited & happy for us on our big day. We were allowed to our room which was lovely and even had a card congratulating us....My wife and I spent our wedding night (and a few days) at Clico and it was a great experience. Due to us arriving late at night, I phoned the day before to make sure we'd be let in and let slip that it was our wedding day.
