For your dinner reception our three modern ballrooms vary in size and feature classic, elegant décor with beautiful chandeliers, detailed woodwork and dedicated dancefloors. A picture perfect backdrop to begin your own “and they lived happily ever after”. All weddings at Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel include a private Hospitality Suite for you and your wedding party to enjoy after the ceremony before being ushered in to your reception; the suite includes a selection of hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, soda and champagne. Receptions include floor length ivory damask linens at each table. Upgraded linens and chairs, floral arrangements, lighting and other décor choices are also available from our creative partners. During cocktail hour our professional staff will welcome your guests with champagne, delicious hors d’oeuvres displays and butler-passed service before your reception dinner begins. Whether you desire a custom theme or a simple affair – our experts will work with you to design your special details. NEXT DAY BRUNCH Continue the celebration the next morning with a farewell brunch. Went for a wedding. It was a beautiful venue for the ceremony, an amazing layout for the wedding dinner and dances. I'm honestly hoping when and if I get married, I can have my wedding there as well. Food was great, servers and bartenders for the wedding went above and beyond. Thoroughly a 5 star place for such an event. If I could give 6, I would.Went for a wedding. It was a beautiful venue for the ceremony, an amazing layout for the wedding dinner and dances. I'm honestly hoping when and if I get married, I can have my wedding there as well. A really nice hotel to stay at. It's massive and so dynamic with its rooms. The staff was very helpful with accommodating guests for my wedding. We really couldn’t have asked for more for our recent wedding at the Desmond. From start to finish, Amanda went above and beyond with her personal attention to the planning and organization of our wedding. We stayed here for a dear friends wedding in the kings hall and it was absolutely amazing. The service, the staff truly great experience. Room bed sheets were new and many other perks to staying here. They also offer membership points, you accumulate good amount of points on your first check in ✅. We could not have asked for a better experience. First meeting with jack to decide the Desmond was perfect for our wedding to dealing with Joanne and samantha this crew doesn't miss a beat! They were amazing with all of our vendors, and having a wedding of 251 that puts a lot of pressure on the staff. Our guests are still talking about how well everything flowed, the food was amazing their rooms were great and our brunch the next morning was perfect after a fun party!
