At Cantigny, we always hope for beautiful weather on your special day. However, our team is fully prepared for any unforeseen circumstances and has a comprehensive plan in place for inclement weather. If both your ceremony and reception are held at Cantigny, we offer a backup ceremony location based on your chosen reception venue. Our dedicated ceremony team will remain in constant communication with you throughout the day, particularly if weather conditions become unfavorable. A final decision regarding the ceremony location will be made two hours before the scheduled start, allowing our team sufficient time to set up for your ceremony!

A photo pass is included in your wedding package! This pass will be issued to you when you drop off your decor, usually the day before your wedding. Kindly ensure that your photographer has the pass visibly displayed while taking photos throughout the park. This will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, allowing for gorgeous wedding photos throughout Cantigny Park while complying with our photography guidelines.

Cantigny does not provide golf carts for any guests/bridal party to travel throughout the park. Given that Cantigny is a public park, we are unable to permit guests to drive through our gardens on golf carts. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all park guests. However, we want to ensure that everyone can easily access your ceremony site. If there are guests who may face challenges in walking to the ceremony site from the parking lot, we are more than happy to provide assistance for them. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a secure environment for everyone.

If you have a ceremony at Cantigny Park, and a reception at Cantigny Golf (Red Oak Room or Woodside Pavilion), please note that the Park and Golf sides of the property are a 5-minute drive from one another. While the distance is not walkable, it's essential to be aware that Cantigny does not provide transportation between these two locations. If your ceremony is at Cantigny Park and the reception is at Cantigny Golf, you are welcome to hire your own transportation service to facilitate the commute between the two venues.

Cantigny does not offer a dedicated Day-of Coordinator; however, we provide several services throughout the day that support the duties typically managed by a Day-of Coordinator. A Ceremony Coordinator will be on hand to assist with the setup of décor in both the ceremony and reception venues. If you have a ceremony at Cantigny, the Ceremony Coordinator will also oversee the rehearsal and offer assistance with the coordination of the ceremony itself.

A member of our staff will assist with the décor setup, including simple décor setup, such as gift/guest book table, place cards, and centerpieces. If you are providing your own centerpieces, we do ask that the centerpieces come ready to be placed on the table. There are some limitations to what we can assist with. If you plan on having floating candles, they will need to be set by a friend or family member. Items that need to be assembled, such as DIY photobooths, we ask that a friend or family member take care of that piece.

Unfortunately, the Woodside Pavilion does not have access to Wi-Fi, as it is a semi-permanent structure. However, the venue does have excellent cell phone service, so we do recommend using a hot spot if you or a vendor needs access to wi-fi throughout your reception.
