Wyresdale Weddings

Wyresdale Weddings is a charming countryside, barn & manor house wedding venue located in the Forest of Bowland. Estate cottages and old coach houses provide accommodation for both the night before and night of your wedding. Lawns, lakes and woodlands are all on hand for timeless photos, providing picture-perfect backdrops for your drinks reception.

Although this romantic gem is adored for its tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty, it is well-connected to major cities thanks to its proximity to the M6.

The Wyresdale estate has undergone some incredibly exciting changes for 2025, including a beautiful walled Ceremony Garden, where you can say ‘I do’ with the fells of the Trough of Bowland as your backdrop, and a stunning Reception Garden with an oak pavilion, outdoor bar and a lawn for garden games.

ONSITE ACCOMMODATION

All accommodation is located just a stone’s throw from our rustic wedding barns, allowing your closest friends and family to stay with you on either the night before or the night of your wedding.

The North Wing – Night before your wedding (sleeps 6)

Part of our grand manor house, featuring original details, three spacious double bedrooms, a roll-top bath, walk-in showers, a large kitchen/diner and a cosy wood-panelled drawing-room.

The Lodge – Night before your wedding (sleeps 6)

A timber-clad cabin close to the North Wing, with a king room, double room and twin room, plus a lounge and kitchen. With woodland surroundings and views across the park, it’s the perfect Night Before base.

The Honeymoon Suite – Night of your wedding (sleeps 2)

Accessed from the South Lawn gardens, this suite includes a private panelled drawing room, super-king bed, high ceilings, ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.

The Coach House – Night of your wedding (sleeps 8)

Four ensuite ground-floor bedrooms within the historic Coach House, featuring beams and original panelling. These rooms expand your onsite capacity for the night of your wedding.

Keeper's Cottage – Night of your wedding (sleeps 6)

Next to the Orchard Glampsite, Keeper’s Cottage features a bright open-plan kitchen/dining room, three king-sized bedrooms (one with optional twin set-up), a shower room and a bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath.

The Orchard Glampsite – Night of your wedding (sleeps 20)

Ten heated king-size yurts on timber decks, with phone-charging facilities and access to a shared kitchen, dressing room, lavatories and showers.

The Nook – Night of your wedding (sleeps 2)

A cosy, luxurious hideaway beside the Glampsite, perfect for guests who want privacy without missing the fun.

What’s New for 2027

Your Night Before (2027)

The addition of new estate cottages, all within a short walk of the venue, expands your Night Before accommodation:

From March: 9 bedrooms
From July: 12 bedrooms
From October: 15 bedrooms

You will also have access to the Manor House main reception rooms for a Night Before gathering with family and friends.

If all bedrooms are booked, we’ll provide complimentary fizz and wine for the table (don’t get too tipsy!).

The Manor House spiral staircase and galley become a dedicated space for stunning wedding dress photos.
Three new Coach House Suites, including one fully accessible suite, connect directly to the Wedding Venue and existing Coach House bedrooms.

We booked Wyresdale Park for our dream wedding and it did not disappoint!! The coordinators were so lovely and very helpful in the run up to our big day - a special mention to Jaydi and Heather who helped ensure the day ran smoothly, always reassuring us and just made sure everything was super special. The venue is just beautiful, everything we could have wished for and more. There’s so many great places to get stunning pictures and the separate barns add a unique touch along with the fantastic We booked Wyresdale Park for our dream wedding and it did not disappoint!! The coordinators were so lovely and very helpful in the run up to our big day - a special mention to Jaydi and Heather who helped ensure the day ran smoothly, always reassuring us and just made sure everything was super special. We got married here in May 2023. The venue is beautiful, but the real beauty lies in their amazing staff. The wedding coordinators are so brilliant, they made the whole day run smoothly we didn’t need to worry about a thing all day. I cannot recommend this venue enough!We got married here in May 2023. We got married on 7th June 23 and it was the best day of our lives. It was everything we'd hoped for and more! We couldn't have asked for a better day and everything went to plan. The staff did the set up, food and drinks were incredible and the grounds were beautiful. Better than we could of imagined Better than we could of imagined
Better than we could have imagined!! I’d always wanted a venue that could sleep my nearest and dearest for a couple of nights, to make a lovely short holiday for everyone! Im so glad I came across Wyresdale! The freedom they gave us to organise our day as we wanted was great, no confinements! Responsive in answering questions and our wedding coordinator was lovely! We want to go back and do it all again! Better than we could have imagined!! I’d always wanted a venue that could sleep my nearest and dearest for a couple of nights, to make a lovely short holiday for everyone! Im so glad I came across Wyresdale! The freedom they gave us to organise our day as we wanted was great, no confinements! Responsive in answering questions and our wedding coordinator was lovely! We want to go back and do it all again!

Well where do we even start!! We had THE most perfect day and that’s down to each and every one of you. We were originally due to get married in May 2020 and then September 2020. We didn’t have any stress at all as you provided us with constant reassurance that we would get the day of our dreams when our time came and you didn’t disappoint. Whenever we had a query or needed anything at all in the build up, you got straight back to us and nothing was ever too much trouble. When we first came for a look around Wyresdale we were blown away as were our guests when they shared our special day with us on Thursday. Venue with the wow factor. We loved how you just allowed us to tailor the venue to our liking but supported us every step of the way, giving as much support as we wanted but leaving us to get on with it in the way we wanted too. The perfect balance The recommended suppliers were amazing, Bluebells and Daisies, Striped Pig, Loft and last but certainly not least, Jo Bradbury. We will be contacting each of them separately but wanted to thank you for pointing us in their direction. They all supported you in making our day as fabulous as it was. The weather was looking a bit dodgy in the morning but even that didn’t bother us in the slightest as Tamsin was straight over with our plan B option to stop any panic creeping in (car to take us over). It wasn’t needed in the end but knowing there was an option was great. Gemma and Tamsin got us all organised and I’ll never forget how calming Tamsin was when we were waiting outside the ceremony barn. She just made sure we focused on what was important, enjoying every single minute of it The whole team were great, the bar staff couldn’t do enough and the team of cleaners who all supported us the following morning to clear the barns were great. An absolute credit to Wyresdale. Not forgetting too, all that will have gone on behind the scenes to ensure we had the day that far exceeded our expectations. Well where do we even start!! Blown away by the venue Blown away by the venue
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our day so special! Cannot believe this was a whole weeks ago, the time has flown by. All our guests were blown away by the venue, it truly is a special place and we cannot wait to come visit again with our dogs for a walk and to visit the café and shops and to keep our wedding memories alive. Beyond perfect Stop right there…you’ve found your wedding venue! Wyresdale Park is simply incredible. The venue itself is the perfect backdrop to add your own touch no matter how creative you want to be. You could do nothing to it and it would still be perfect! The locations for pictures are endless and our photographers were blown away by how pretty it all was. The yurts on site are gorgeous and our wedding party loved being part of the experience heading off the their warm beds at the end of the night. The chosen caterers had something for every type of style and budget from a formal sit down meal or sharers and pies. We went for feasting boards of meat and sides which the guests are still talking about now months later! And then there’s the team…Tamsin was our wedding coordinator and was just brilliant. She was chilled and calm and super helpful. From planning to the day itself, everything was so smooth and I didn’t feel the need to panic or stress. One of my bridesmaids put it perfectly ‘she kept everything in control and on time without being a d*#k!! We all loved her!
