We can cater for wedding between 30 and 200 guests in our events spaces which include our stunning garden terrace and permanent marquee space. Our wedding planners will look after you every step of the way. Experts in turning your dreams into reality, they can help with everything from room dressing to recommending suppliers. You can also enjoy the luxury of using Woodlands on an exclusive use basis. You and your guests can enjoy the freedom of using the whole hotel and gardens from 1pm on the day of your wedding until 11am the following day.

Not the best for what we paid to be honest

Paid an absolute fortune for our wedding to not even have a CD player that works so my brother has to connect his phone to a speaker so I could have a song to walk down the aisle. Also mouldy starter for majority of the guests. Never got an apology, nothing. We paid extra to have it outside (weather dependant) weather was absolutely fine (overcast) came sunny in the afternoon but still got shoved inside! Waiters complained that people was up late (24 hour bar) eventually bar staff went home and lest guests unattended. If I could go back again I wouldn’t choose here but that’s my opinion.

We are a little confused by your review as we didn't host a wedding in February 2024 under the initials L & T. We can also confirm that the hotel does not own a CD player, nor do we offer outdoor ceremonies in the month of February due to poor weather conditions. We have certainly never received feedback regarding 'mouldy' food.

Always a pleasure

As an external wedding supplier at The Woodlands we are always made to feel very welcome. The staff are always friendly, polite and go above and beyond to ensure our couples expectations are met, not forgetting how gorgeous the venue is. They are a pleasure to work alongside and after working closely with the team for over 8 years it feels more like a family. Abbigail and Jess have been the constant thread to all the weddings we have worked at and really cannot do enough to ensure we have everything we need to make sure we can deliver exactly what our clients have booked.

The absolute best day ever!

Thank you for THE BEST wedding ever!

We held our wedding here on 07/08/22 and all I can say is if you are considering this venue then do it - you won’t regret it! Firstly, thank you to Jessica for all of your wedding planning and help which guided me smoothly to arrange a wedding in just 15 weeks! There’s is no question that I couldn’t ask. And the menu tasting (included) was a fabulous experience meaning that there were so many possible options for the big day.

Beautiful wedding venue!

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, Woodlands is the place! We booked during lockdown after several phone calls and email conversations and I knew from the beginning that the organisation and staff was going to be fantastic. Abbigail was our wedding coordinator and I can’t thank her enough. She is so friendly, professional and settled any worries/questions I had.

Just got back from our daughters wedding and want to review while my memory was still fresh - a fantastic hotel, immaculate with a very welcoming atmosphere. Check in was easy and there is a lift for people who have difficulty with stairs. Our room was comfortable, warm and well equipped, the large double bed promised a good night sleep. I've never known such helpful staff nothing was too much trouble - the wedding arrangements all provided were faultless - the food was good and nourishing.

Great venue for my nieces wedding

Would be difficult to find a better venue for a wedding reception. The staff throughout the day were friendly & efficient. The food was very good, well presented, cooked & served well. Rooms were of a high standard & the gardens were lovely for the photos. Breakfast was very good as were the staff serving it.

Our Amazing Wedding!

Where do I even start?? We got Married on 11th March 2023 and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!!!! The staff were just incredible, particularly Alice on Reception, Mark - Coordinator and Abbigail Milne. Nothing was too much trouble, no issue that couldn't be resolved they helped make our day that bit more special. The Woodlands Hotel is a beautiful venue and was our first choice to get Married after 25 years!!!! Every single one of our guests complimented our choice of venue and took time to tell us.

My son and his beautiful wife married at Woodlands on Sunday 30th April. From the second we arrived we felt welcomed by the whole team and the attention to detail both inside and outside in the the hotel grounds was second to none. The orangery looked incredible and the whole team of staff transformed it magically between the service, wedding breakfast and finally the evening celebration. The delicious food, wines and service were all faultless.

I had the pleasure of being at my Daughter and son in laws wedding at the weekend. The event was stunning ,well organised and perfect - thankyou. The staff where courteous, outstanding and polite and helpful, the food was excellent and so was the service. The rooms were clean and so welcoming and the bed was just so comfy. A Big thankyou to you all for making the day so good and memorable. THANK YOU!
