Featuring an impressive Main Hall, stunning indoor and outdoor spaces including terraces and acres of gorgeous gardens and grounds, Wennington Hall offers endless opportunities for wedding celebrations in the stunning Lune Valley. The function room, a large open space flooded with natural light from the huge arched windows, has a wedding capacity for up to 140 seated guests. Opening up onto a terrace surrounded by planters and offering feature lighting, the feel of this stunning space is perfect for wedding celebrations. Featuring a dedicated kitchen, and acres of gorgeous grounds, there’s no shortage of possibilities here. The building itself, with towers, turrets, spiral staircases and gothic arches galore is simply magnificent, and aims to be the most romantic and the most fun wedding and events venue in North Lancashire and South Lakes. With 20 boutique bedrooms currently finished and more planned, there is plenty of space to make Wennington Hall your home away from home for all of your family and friends. From the moment we arrived the night before right through to the very last dance, everything ran so smoothly and we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. A huge thank you to Harriet, our incredible wedding co-ordinator. She was so calm, organised and reassuring throughout the whole planning process and especially on the big day itself. We always felt in the best hands, We had the most amazing experience at Wennington Hall for our wedding day – it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. Our wedding day was truly unforgettable, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible team at Wennington. Six months prior to our big day, our original venue went up for sale by the owners which wasn’t communicated, and although once I enquired what was happening we were told they would honour our wedding date, I didn’t feel confident as communication was already poor, and I didn’t know what service we would receive on the day. After a quick call with Alicia at Wennington, the team completely put my worries to rest. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating, helping to ease my stress and walk me through all the possibilities to bring my vision to life. With only six months to go, we still managed our meal tasting and a number of meetings to discuss how the day would unroll. I was provided with all the information I needed and then we worked on what I wanted to build into the day and any random requests to make our day special. Even when it rained in the morning, they seamlessly adjusted the plans to ensure everything ran smoothly. While the venue itself is stunning, it was the team that truly made our day exceptional. They took care of every detail, went out of their way to make sure I was happy, and ensured all our guests were well taken care of. From the smallest touches to the big moments, their dedication was evident. We had the most amazing day, completely stress-free, knowing the team had everything under control. The photos and videos turned out beautifully, and we've received so many wonderful comments about how much everyone enjoyed the wedding and how relaxed they felt, thanks to the team's impeccable planning. We couldn't be more grateful for everything they did to make our day perfect. The venue of our dreams truly came to life, especially after completing the first stage of its renovation. The most magical dayThe most magical day
Wow! What a day! We had our wedding at Wennington Hall on 11th October and it was the most magical day ever and we want to do it all over again! Wennington Hall is absolutely stunning, the venue decor is beautiful and the grounds are lovely, we were able to capture some fantastic photos and our guests were in awe of the venue. Although we booked Wennington Hall whilst it was still undergoing renovations, we never felt nervous or worried because everyone was extremly professional and our Wedding Coordinator Alicia kept in touch throughout the whole process and answered any question we threw at her. We were lucky enough to be able to stay the night before the wedding which was amazing, the staff were super accommodating and we felt like royalty. The wedding day was magical, everything ran smoothly, all of the staff were great, especially Lesley-Ann who regularly checked in to ensure we were happy (which we were 100%!) and everything was as it should be (which it was!). It was the most amazing day and we couldn't recommend Wennington Hall enough! We are super happy that we were able to get married there. Wow! What a day! We were the third couple to marry at this venue and all I can say is everything was brilliant! Even though it was a brand new venue and at first I was asking questions before the staff knew the answers, they were always so reassuring and helpful. Throughout every step of the process I knew everything would be perfect in their hands and they were always ready with advice. The staff were professional and lovely and the venue was absolutely beautiful. Everything went so smoothly in their hands, I didn’t need to worry at all on the day. You were superstars. Thank you for making our day so amazing, I wouldn’t change a thing.We were the third couple to marry at this venue and all I can say is everything was brilliant! When will we start to plan our wedding with Wennington Hall?

After you confirm your wedding with us here at Wennington Hall, we will next need to see you to run through the details of your day about six months prior to your wedding. We then finalise your big day with you one month prior to your day. However, we understand that you will probably have lots of questions and queries leading up to your special day and so please feel free to arrange an appointment to pop in at any time. We are here every step of the way to answer any questions you may have and offer some helpful advice so please do not hesitate to phone or email us whenever you need to.
