We attended a wedding ceremony here a few years ago and the venue was beautiful

Fantastic hotel with lots of great onsite amenities. The staff truly go above and beyond for guests. They are friendly, welcoming with a great rapport amongst the team. I recently attended a wedding fair at the hotel as a supplier and I had a very positive day from start to finish. It was well organised by staff and the event ran smoothly because of their attentiveness with visitors throughout. Can't recommend them highly enough!

We worked with the Village a couple of times now, and it’s always ran smoothly and efficiently. Staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll look forward to working with them again in the future.

This Hotel is amazing if you are thinking off having your special day nothing is to much trouble for them to get the right suppliers for you from there in house Dj to someone doing your table centre pieces

We had a fabulous day on the 5th August for my sister wedding, couldn’t thank Katie and Sid enough for all of their hard work. They were very thoughtful and really looked after my sisters needs and in planning her special day, very accommodating and did everything they could to help with last minute changes. The day was amazing. Sid, Katie, Kayley and all the team worked so hard to ensure our day was perfect, and it was. Everything ran very smoothly from the ceremony to the celebration afterwards. The whole team worked hard and fast to turn the room around for us. The food for the wedding breakfast and the evening hog roast was amazing, there was no complaints from our guests. The hotel was very accommodating with our various dietary requirements. The service from the wedding team was efficient and friendly. The DJ, Colin, was fantastic very accommodating playing song that were requested and allowing some of our guests to sing. The rooms we stayed in after the night had been danced away were clean and spacious. All in all the whole of the hotel team were helpful and friendly. If you haven't booked or even looked at a venue then The Village hotel could be the best venue you never see.

Words are difficult to be able to say what a wonderful experience our day was. From the original booking made last year with Hannah and then briefly Sid but mainly Katie. She was able to sort out all our different food requests easily, I'm sure every time she got an email from me she must have groaned but at all time she was so helpful. The staff on the day bent over backwards to attend every request. It's a shame we cannot remember their names as they deserve to be personally thanked. The bedroom was lovely and all the food both at the party and at breakfast was delicious

From the moment we were seated for the meal, things had already gone wrong. No napkins. The evening got worse, buffet taken away without us being asked, the buffet being binned even tho is was meant to be keeper, as discussed in every meeting we had with hannah the wedding planner. No plates or napkins for the wedding cake. Paid for the bar to be opened until 12, and tried to close it at 11. Didn't receive gym member shifts. Won't advise a wedding their to anyone.

The food was lovely and the staff were exceptional. Well done
