For your special day, we have 5 main function rooms for your exclusive use. The first is our landscaped courtyard, which is on the side of our building, it has drinks and dining facilities and can host up to 120 guests. Our courtyard is licensed to carry out civil marriages if an outdoor wedding is what you are looking for. As you step inside the venue, you will first enter the original courtroom which serves as the main ballroom. This space can accommodate up to 80 seated guests or 200 evening guests for your party. We have built in sound and light system to further elevate your wedding experience. And our in-house decorator, florist and DJ can be at your disposal at competitive rates. Next to the main ballroom is our Emerald Lounge which serves as a separate bar area for your evening reception. It can also be used for intimate weddings, we're licensed to carry out civil marriage in this space too. We also have our Magistrate's room and The Library featuring different design and decor aesthetics for more photo opportunities. Our venue hire includes all the necessary equipment (dancefloor, ambiance lights, decorations, reception signs, garden games etc), waiting and bar staff. Our principle is to make your wedding planning as easy as possible. The price ranges from £4200 to £6600. To explain the price difference, the £4200 package covers reception and evening party excluding the ceremony, and the £6600 package is the most comprehensive, it covers the venue hire for breakfast, wedding ceremony, reception and evening party.

Summer Wedding

We just got married this year in July. 90 guests at the Sessions House in Spalding. We are from Norwich but were attracted by this great venue which was offered to us at a great price. Our budget was 10k max for everything and this came in under that. We were really happy with the event and had the ceremony in the court-room, the bar was open to guests and we paid for a buffet that the hosts helped us to arrange. We had the venue from 9am in the morning and finished at midnight. But had been in touch with the hosts (Erica mostly) in the run-up to the event and she was super helpful in arranging everything. Ours was not a grand event - but the venue can sure be made to be more grander - but also Erica worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and coming in under budget. Highly recommend speaking to Erica and booking the Sessions House for other couples.

Thank you for making our daughter's special day. From a parent's perspective we really appreciated the transparency on the pricing and the fact that there were no hidden charges or anything unexpected - we had seen previous venues add in extras for chairs, tables, etc etc - and you were really transparent and upfront on costs. We also appreciated the responsiveness - we klnow our daughter really liked being able to deal with you over whatsapp as opposed to calling or emailing - so this was great in terms of a more personal and responsive approach. We hope you continue to make other couples happy at your special venue.

The team were really nice to us and made sure we felt welcome and that we could discuss everything beforehand. I don't usually write reviews - but given the effort made by Erika over the last few weeks to make our special day turn out perfect - I wanted to share a few comments to thank her and to recommend her and the The Sessions House to other couples. We were super nervous about having everything go well for the big day - and Erika was really helpful in making sure that we had everything well planned and arranged. She even arranged for us to have our own bespoke cocktails made for us in the bar for after the ceremony. We really appreciated how responsive she was to us and how helpful. We loved some of the little touches like the cocktails, the recommendations for photoshots, the printing of our own personalised flag, the flexibility on the food options etc. The venue is great. We were lucky with the weather so it was great to spend time outside in the grounds. Erika - thanks for everything..

We loved this venue - we fell in love with it when we first saw it. Great versatility - from the imposing front view of the castle-like structure, to the open courtyard with flowers and greenery, to the open and grand court-room, to the avant-garde bar, to the stately magistrates room and finally to the cosy library. We loved all that this venue had to offer. The hosts are amazing - and gave us great versatility on our wedding options. We had considered using our own caterers (which they were fine with) but in the end went with their inhouse grazing table and hog roast which were both great choices. One thing we really liked was that there were almost no 'add-on' prices for things - didn't need to pay extra for this or extra for that - think the only extra thing we paid for on top of the venue and food costs was printing of our own flag to fly above the venue on the wedding day! (which we got to keep anyway!!!!). So with these guys - what you see is what you get - or in fairness - you get more than what you see and what you pay for! They were also super flexible in terms of building access prior to the wedding to allow us to set up the decorations and some personal items that we wanted to ensure we had in some of the rooms. Overall - an truly memorable day made better by supportive hosts in a unique venue.

Great hosts - great value

Thank you Erika and Andrew for making our special day - SPECIAL! We were on a budget and you helped make sure that we still had a fairytale day. We loved the attention and planning you gave us before and during the event. The venue is lovely and so special - we have taken so many photos - and have so many fond memories of our time there. We especially loved the courtyard and the outdoor bar you put on for us after the ceremony. And our guests just loved the main room and how you decorated it. Thoroughly recommend this as a venue - but recommend it even more for the fabulous couple that really made sure the day went without a hitch when we got hitched! Thank you.
