Description

With 101 en-suite bedrooms we can offer a choice of standard and superior rooms for your guests, all at discounted rates. Our other facilities include the Gravity Bar with its welcoming and hospitable ambience, our beautiful contemporary library and our Health Club with swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, which is ideal for relaxing in both before and after the big day. Our wedding packages include our Tulip Package from just £48.75 per person. We can accommodate parties of all sizes from 10 to 200 guests and have a variety of function suites, suitable for both civil wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, these include the purpose built Allington Suite and Newton Suite with its own courtyard garden. We are also licensed for open air weddings in our Newton and Restaurant Courtyards, weather permitting!

Happy couple married in November

We held our wedding at this hotel last Saturday and had approx 80 guests in the daytime and a further 20 in the evening. Approx half of them stayed overnight. We were not disappointed with anything. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and although there were other events going on in other rooms at the same time, you would not have realised. The staff were very efficient and served the meal quickly to each guest and the meal was served hot and the portion sizes larger than expected.

The staff were all really professional

We stayed at The Olde Barn for 4 nights and we loved every minute. The staff were all really professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a superior double room, and it was well-equipped with large flat screen TV and so spacious. The food was of a really high standard and there was plenty of choice on the menu. The pool was lovely and also the steam sauna and jacuzzi, which were free to use during our stay. A first class break away & we will definitely be back.

Wedding: January

We have just got back from a 3 night stay and wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff. The room was lovely, food wonderful, spa and pool beautifully but the highlight for us has been the staff. Friendly, so helpful and so professional. A real credit to the hotel

This hotel was the best hotel I have ever been on! The food was amazing, the pool and the spa was relaxing, the staff were great especially Jane, the restaurant was very luxurious, the rooms were big, the beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was so clean!☺️I would come here again!😊

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. Plenty of parking. Just a mile off the A1 so very accessible but lovely and quiet. Very comfortable rooms . Very nice breakfast and dinner. Staff all friendly .Great sitting room('library') very comfortable sofas . Well maintained and clean

Had our wedding here on the 23.10.21. The whole day went so smoothly. The staff and Wedding Coordinator managed everything so well. The food was hot when served and delicious. None of the guests had any complaints. The facilities were extremely clean and our room was spotless! I would definitely visit again for one of the murder mystery nights. Thank you to all the staff for making our day special.

Would recommend!

We stayed for a wedding and the staff couldn't have done enough to make the day for the bride and groom any more perfect. Breakfast was great, lots of variety. lots of variety with cold and hot drinks available to suit everyone. The hotel was clean and tidy too. Would recommend!

We were guests at a wedding here and stayed overnight afterwards. Very conveniently located just quarter of a mile from the A1, it has a number of large entertainment/conference rooms including a lovely hall registered for civil marriage ceremonies. The staff were excellent, rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed using the pool and leisure facilities the next morning.
