The Ocean Suite on Eastbourne Pier

We had our wedding at the ocean suite and we couldn't be happier. The venue is unique and beautiful, with gorgeous views across the seafront and coast line. The staff at the Ocean Suite were fantastic in ensuring our day went smoothly, and were very accommodating throughout the day. The food was excellent and served hot, and each dish was presented beautifully. We would also like to thank Fran for her help throughout the process too. I would definitely recommend The Ocean Suite as a venue for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

I cannot thank the staff at The Ocean Suite enough for making our Wedding Day so special! Maria in particular should get a medal for all the effort she went to to make sure we had the perfect day and everything went so smoothly! Communication beforehand was perfect and we were always kept up to date with what needed to be decided and when. She allowed us to decorate the venue early the day before which was super helpful as it meant we could relax in the evening before the wedding. On the actual day everything was fantastic. Despite the bit of rain we had, all of our guests loved the venue and said how impressed they were with it. We even went to the arcade for some fun wedding pics to remember our unique venue on the Pier. The food was delicious and all served so efficiently and smoothly. Ruben and the team were very attentive and the bar staff were helpful and always prompt serving everyone. The DJ was brilliant to finish the night off and we were even lucky enough to have booked the wedding on bonfire night and enjoyed the fireworks outside on the beautiful terrace. I could not have asked for a better wedding day and it would not have been possible without Maria and the teams hard work. Thank you so much for everything!!! From the new Mr & Mrs Shoesmith x

Just to say that the feedback was excellent from the party last Thursday. We thought the venue was a perfect size for us, the photo booth worked well and a great DJ that got everyone up and dancing! We thought all your staff were very good, efficient very friendly and helpful and the food came out on time with no waiting which for the number of guests we had was no mean feat. On the back of this we would like to provisionally book Thursday 12th December for 2109 for our Christmas party. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Maria, We have posted a review on The Ocean Suite Facebook page and Google, please see below: The Ocean Suite hosted our wedding on 15th Sept 18. Fran was the lovely lady who we first met and who helped us build the picture of our big day about a year in advance. Fran went on maternity leave a few months before our wedding, but was replaced by the amazing Maria ! Maria went above and beyond to cater to all our needs on the lead up to the wedding. On the big day to say they outdid themselves would be an understatement, they were the most caring, attentive and happy smiley staff we've ever seen. The food was fantastic, the wine was great, the aircon worked so well that people put jackets on (until we started dancing, then it was back on) our photographer was in love with the location and we have some great pictures to look forward to. we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else, it was everything we dreamed of. Thank you to everyone at The Ocean Suite for making our day simply perfect. You all were truly amazing! Thank you again for a wonderful day!

Thank you for a brilliant evening on Friday. I haven’t heard a negative comment which is a first!! We will certainly put the Pier on the choices for next year. Thank you again.

Our wedding day at the Ocean Suite was the most beautiful, well-organised, and incredible day that we could have hoped for. From the moment we first saw the Ocean Suite and the beautiful views that is has across the sea we knew we wanted to get married there. During the run up you put in so much effort, from chasing down our missing in action DJ to coordinating with our toastmaster to finalise timeline details. Even the day before you happily fixed the guest list to move some of our evening guests into drop-out day guest spaces at the last minute. Being able to access the venue to set up the night before was very welcome and allowed us plenty of time to put things in place. On the day I don't think a single thing went wrong. Everything flowed like it was all meant to happen just that way, no doubt due to all your work in the background. The timeline slipped between dinner and dessert as Daniel and I wandered the tables, but we were never aware and it all magically got back on track. Our guests have absolutely raved about the food, the lamb in particular. Vegetarian guests have said it is the best wedding meal they have had in a long time and catering to some of our most complicated dietary requirement guests was apparently no trouble for your chef. Thanks again for all the help with making our wedding so memorable!

Dear Maria. I am writing to thank you for all your efforts in helping to make our wedding run so smoothly. We had the most amazing day. I was apprehensive when Fran left to go on maternity leave as she had dealt with all the plans up until that point but you made time to meet me, we sat and went through everything from start to finish and what a welcomed change. It was so nice to speak to someone about my wedding who was actually truly passionate and interested in my ideas and plans. You assured me that if I needed help at any time to call you or email even outside of your working hours which was very much appreciated. We had chosen traditional fish and chips for our wedding breakfast and I have to say the food was delicious and served very quickly. Happy guests all round! You managed to entertain 11 children so the adults could actually listen and have a good giggle at the speeches which was great. Nothing was too much to ask for and I appreciate everything you done. Wanted to thank you very much for the event for my mum. All went very well, the lunch was wonderful and the venue perfect for us as we were able to relax and spend time with mum, many thanks for looking after us.

We just wanted to say thank you again so much for all your help last weekend. We had a fantastic day and had so many lovely comments on how well organised the day was and what a great job everyone did. If you could pass our thanks on to the team. We also had so many compliments to the chef, the lamb in particular was beautifully cooked and enjoyed by so many of our guests.
