Our Event Management team will ensure your day runs smoothly and will create great lasting memories for you and your guests. THE VENUE..... The beautiful Laker Suite is adjacent to the Laker Foyer and Laker Lounge area which are all available for private use for your big day, and are all included in our packages. You can host up to 96 guests for a sit down meal and up to 175 guests for your evening celebrations with your own private function bar. PHOTO OPPOTUNITIES.... Photographs of your wedding day are so important and there are plenty of opportunities to capture all of them at The Laker Suite. Our sweeping glass staircase provides a picture-perfect backdrop for couple and group photography. Alongside this elegant indoor setting, we offer a variety of outdoor photo opportunities, with our balcony being a standout feature—boasting breathtaking countryside scenery and beautiful sunset views. ACCOMODATION Preferential rates are given to all wedding couples and an easy booking system is in place to take the stress and pressure away from the Bride and Groom. WEDDING PACKAGES.... From the moment we met Hayley to view your hotel we were filled with complete confidence that you would make our day special. At each meeting and every email you were kind and so helpful. On our day Sue and Suzanna were calm and in complete control of everything They ensured that the day ran so smoothly we really cannot thank them enough They were so kind and we didn’t feel rushed at all. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Holiday Inn Southend went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. I had the pleasure of having my africcn traditional wedding at Holiday Inn Southend recently, and I must say it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The venue exuded elegance and charm. We had a little big package with a small number of guests, this was no problem for the venue. The whole day ran so smoothly, we never had to worry about anything as Sue, Suzanna, Simon and Mo were all on hand dealing with everything. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The bridal suite was beautiful, huge room overlooking the airport.Myself and my husband got married here on 28.11, a Thursday. She has taken consideration of our wishes and made sure we were involved in every step of planning.
