The immediate grounds were designed by award-winning landscape designer Lizze Tulip and provide an idyllic location for outdoor ceremonies and wedding photographs. Nestled between two tranquil lakes, couples will find a modern barn where they can host their wedding breakfast. The barn looks nothing short of stunning, featuring exposed oak beams and surrounded by a Yorkshire stone patio. Its large bi-fold doors flood the room with natural light during the day to create an idyllic and airy setting. When the sun goes down, the space is transformed into the ultimate party zone where guests can boogie long into the night. Services Offered The Hidden Oak team aims to provide an unforgettable experience for couples and their loved ones. A dedicated wedding coordinator will ensure each wedding is a seamless and enjoyable occasion. Couples can erect marquees, tipis, or yurts for extra capacity. Live music facilities are on site, and a dance floor is available. Catering is provided by the team's in-house caterers, who will prepare a culinary masterpiece to suit each couple's needs. The Hidden Oak truly is a hidden gem in North Yorkshire. The perfect setting for an incredible wedding day with luxury facilities, spacious grounds and attentive staff that ensure that your day runs perfectly. The Hidden Oak is my favourite venue to photograph and each couple I have worked with there have not been disappointed. The grounds are stunning and there is so much space for guests to enjoy. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with how everything went on our wedding day. Right from the first viewing, the venue was so stunning and Rob was really helpful and friendly. He took every request we made into consideration and was so reasonable and accommodating. Throughout the process we viewed the venue several times to get a proper feel of the place and we loved it so much. The wedding itself was fantastic. The staff were great and any concern we had was dealt with. Many guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s was great value for money with no hidden charges. Overall a wonderful experience. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!! My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with how everything went on our wedding day. We are still not over how utterly perfect our day was! This Venue was a stand out choice for us, we didn’t feel like we were being ‘churned out’ of a production line or just another wedding. The family friendly feel was perfect. The grounds speak for themselves and are breathtaking. The run up to the wedding was made easy-breezy with lots of communication, Rob and the team accommodated any visits to the venue I wanted to make. Everything on our day was perfect, Rob, the family and the Hidden Oak Team were outstanding. They all ensured the day ran smoothly. Even little hitches from the weather or suppliers I wasn’t even aware of, and were sorted by staff so I could enjoy my day. In addition all of my suppliers that made the day as wonderful as it was from start to finish, Herringbone House Beauty, Tate Hair, Silk and Blossom, Sweet William Florist, our amazing magician Luke Howells and night time entertainment House of Sax. The food on our day was next level, every one of our guests commented on how lovely this was and the evening pizzas went down a treat. To anyone who is considering this venue know, hands down you won’t be disappointed. It is incredible. The accommodation is beautiful - beds are ridiculously comfy, kitchen is gorgeous. The dressing room was a lovely area for the morning of my big day. The honeymoon suite is a delight, with views of the gorgeous landscape, deers and bunny’s in the mornings.
