A former Elizabethan coaching inn on a quiet stretch of the Thames, The Great House is our original clubhouse, and award-winning wedding venue. Here at The Great House, we provide a beautiful location and delicious food, whilst everything else is yours to design - just how you have always dreamed of. The Dining Room is naturally lit and surrounded by its own terrace overlooking the river. It can host a ceremony for 100 and an evening reception for up to 200 people. All rooms overlook the river, the perfect setting and view for ceremonies and receptions. The team on the day were incredible, Enya was our team leader and went above and beyond to make sure it went smoothly and we felt looked after which we really did! She helped solve dress problem, took control of the day which is exactly what I needed, the whole bar team were so happy and efficient, I could not ask for more, they really were incredible, all our guests felt well looked after

We had a truly magical day

We had a truly magical day, thank you so much for all your help right from the start. Honestly, the team at Streatley are fabulous, everything went exactly as planned - right down to the surprise of the singing waiter! Everyone was amazing and super friendly and helpful.we were both quite sad when it was all over, we would have loved to do it all over again! The ceremony was just magical, the food was perfect and the drinks reception was wonderful. Hennes nailed it! Once again, thank you all

Beautiful venue

The whole day went amazingly! The team at the venue were brilliant, Harry couldn't stop singing Jen's praises and me either - she was so great! The bar staff were on top form all night and the food was delicious, I wish I could've eaten more - the evening snack of mac and cheese was the talk of the night! We got so many compliments from guests on such a beautiful venue and it was genuinely the best day!
