We got married at the Glen Yr Afon on 21st May 2022. From the moment we visited the venue, Carol was amazing - helping us out with every detail to ensure our day was perfect. And it was. The day was everything that we could have dreamed of and more. The staff were absolutely incredible from start to finish - I couldn't fault them. The service they provided was brilliant and and so was the evening entertainment. We couldn't recommend this venue enough - we'd do it all over again if we could!!! Thank you to Carol, Sultan, Alex and the team for special day a dream come true.

We had our Wedding Reception here on 14.05.22 after having to rearrange due to Covid. Not once did the hotels commitment to making our day special waver through all of the uncertainty. Carol always knew what we needed to hear throughout the process and was so personable. We had lots of ideas that all came to life thanks to Carol and her team, every fine detail was thought of which made it look so beautiful. The day was truly magical and that is testimony to the hard work you put into the planning and execution on the day by Carol, Sulthan and the whole Glen-Yr-Afon team. It was nice to have so many food options avail all off which were amazing not only were all our guests complementary of the food, it great to see the children be so well catered for as well. Certainly none of our guests went hungry. A key factor in choosing Glen-Yr-Afon was the ability to have all our guests stay with us in the hotel. Carol’s management and organisation of this was a particular relief. Having everyone so close meant our wedding day turned into a whole weekend of celebrations. All the staff were exemplary, nothing was to much trouble and we were made to feel so special. We are ever so grateful for this. Mr & Mrs Walsh

We finally got married on the 11th June 2022, after rescheduling twice due to covid. Right from the start Carol, our wedding planner, helped us with everything, making it as stress free as possible. Can’t recommend the Glen Yr Afon highly enough as a wedding venue. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fantastic. The venue and the grounds were beautiful and even the sun shone for us! Thank you again to Carol and all those involved in making our day so special. 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️❤️

We fell in love with the venue from our first visit, and right from the beginning you made the whole wedding planning process smooth and stress-free. Your experience with hosting weddings was invaluable to us and all our questions were answered quickly and comprehensively. The Diamond package was exactly what we wanted. The day itself was better than we could have imagined, and we were so pleased to be able to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful grounds of the hotel. The food was incredible, and many of our guests have said the same, I don’t think it could ever be beaten! All the staff were fantastic and very professional, and we want to thank every one of them for making the day so enjoyable for us. We wish we could re-live it! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. All the staff at the hotel could not do enough for us, they made the day perfect. From the day we went to meet with Carol to view the hotel we knew it’s where we would get married. We had an intimate wedding, with 14 in total to celebrate at the meal afterwards. The food, service and grounds were outstanding. Thank you to all involved who made the day so special. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I had our wedding at the hotel in May 2021. We definitely made the right choice! The staff on site made my family feel at home from the moment they arrived. They delivered a gold standard service and everyone's needs were catered for without question. (They even created a doggy bag for our pooches to take home! ) This high level of service never waivered and even went on until the day after our wedding. Sultan in particular made my wife and I feel like royalty! The hotel itself was in a brilliant location, the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were SO comfortable! The grounds were picturesque and were perfect for beautiful wedding photos! The venue was big enough for a wedding party but made the whole day seem intimate and even more special than it already was. As an aside, the standard of food delivered on site is superb! The range of food was brilliant as well as the quality of the produce. No-one went hungry! Within the current climate, planning the wedding was difficult but Carol made the whole thing effortless. She worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was catered for, maintained regular contact with us, was approachable and nothing was too big or small for her to tackle. She is a credit to the company and was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. Thank you to all of the team at The Glen Yr Afon Hotel for making our special day perfect! Had our wedding ceremony on May bank holiday. Restriction permitted 30 people Carol the wedding coordinator for the venue was lovely. Arranged the perfect seating arrangement for social distancing wedding and reception. The food was amazing so much of it. Thank you to Sulthan and his team for looking after us. The lawns were perfect for drinks and canopies a very special day and location. Would recommend for staying in the hotel or that special day
